Like always great video.. quite a revelation, used to play nintendo game & watch back in the 80s... never heard of gakken lcd handheld before..👍
Thanks so much. I have to admit I don't remember the Gakken games either, but quite enjoyed this one. Nintendo were Kings of the Game and Watch, but are expensive to buy now and LCDs can be tricky to fix. Maybe one day I'll feature one. Great games. Thanks again for your comments.

Thank you for this. I got one as well on ebay and the display is pretty faint in spots. It doesn't seem like a battery connection issue and I've been nervously putting off opening it up to clean everything.

A nice treat to see you've uploaded, I've seen several Game & Watch games which are pretty much not repairable so i didn't hold out too much hope on this. Forgive me for doubting your powers 😊 Hope life can be a bit smoother for you, cheers
Thanks Skyway.... I have thrown a lot of LCD games that I bought spares or repair away unfortunately. You are correct that bleeding LCDs and similar have rendered Many of these games beyond rescue. I am well thanks, lost my mum recently and her illness and now executor duties have impacted my already full schedule, but I haven't given up on it all. It's actually a bit frustrating I haven't managed to get more stuff out. Thanks as always for your kind words. I hope that you are well.

Hi Brian thanks for you good wishes. I am very well thanks. The lots I have going on was the illness and eventual passing of my mum. Its behind me now but the role of executor and sorting out the old house is taking much of my spare time.

Great video! I'm a big fan of game and watch so it's always interesting to see what the competition to them was back in the day. Either way, way better than the Tiger stuff I had as a kid.
