Amazing job I can see just how much work this was I had tough times getting a RC engine aligned perfectly so many pitfalls like P-factor getting the cowling to align perfectly.
Just WOW buddy! I didn’t see any vibration whatsoever. I’m getting really excited for you and also for myself as to the choices that will be available when I get to this point in a few years. I would have to think there will be quite a bit of alternative engine support out there. Are you going with a constant speed prop, and actually are you able to run a constant speed prop like the electric Airmaster?
Thanks Keith! It runs bitter smooth for sure. The gearbox does have provisions for the electric air master and word on the street is that DUC is developing an adjustable setup for this setup as well. I however am sticking with the ground adjustable setup for now mostly due to the financial burden those props bring with them. Thanks watching and engaging. I hope you’ll document your journey when the time comes👍
Very well packaged and it sounds great. What did you do for wiring as far as the engine goes? Did you just gut the snow machine and run as is? Or is there someone making an aftermarket wiring harness and tuner for the genesis turbo?
Thanks! I bought a snow machine harness and reverse engineered it deleting what I didn’t need and adding a few things I did want. It’s all reworked with tefzel wire and new pins crimped on for each stock connector. The Ecu is a stand alone stock replacement from Link ECU offered and tuned by the gentlemen at Hypersports USA. They build super high end race sleds. Ian Bange will be offering a package deal similar to this setup in the near future. I can put you in touch with him if your interested.
Congrats! Curious about stating without a prop. I know that I read somewhere not to run my Aerovee, that I am building, without a prop but that is a direct drive. Maybe your gear reduction setup gives the engine enough resistance. I am just learning so honestly curious.
Thanks! You are correct, you don’t want to start an engine without some kind of flywheel or prop in place. The gearbox in this case is enough to get by at lower rpms but I won’t be able to rev it much until I do have the prop in place. Thanks for watching sir👍
Hey, congrats! I been waiting for this for over a year! Love the push button control panel as well!
Thanks man! I’m pumped to have reached this milestone of the build👍
That engine sounds great. Seems to run extremely smooth too.
It’s very smooth for sure👍
Its ALIVE!!! Sounds great, congrats!!
Congratulations! That sounds smooth!
Thanks!
Congratulations! Big step! First starts mean a lot.
Yes sir it feels good! Thanks!
Congratulations!!!
Congratulations!! What a great present, can't wait to see more progress
Thanks!
Congrats Josh! Sounds awesome!
Thanks man!
YEAH BUDDY! Fires right up. Looks/sounds like zero vibration, too. Congrats on the progress. Enjoy your holiday season, and see ya back at it in '22!

Thanks!
That engine sounds awesome!
Thanks Pat!
Awesome Awesome Awesome
Congratulations! Sounds good
Thanks man! Pretty pumped!
Congratulations. I've been following your build and have learned a lot from your channel. That motor sounds great. Almost there...
Thanks! It’s been a fun process! One piece at a time👍
Great stuff! Congrats on a big milestone in your engine build.
Congrats Josh!! That’s really exciting!
Thanks!
Looks and sounds great. Congrats
Thanks!

Seriously cool, do you know how the fuel consumption will compare to the X340 Titon?
It should be more efficient than a titan, but horsepower takes a certain amount of gas to make so who know.. Time will tell
Heck yeah congrats
Thanks man!
Bloody Beautiful! Excellent work. Merry Christmas
Thanks!
What an awesome Christmas present 🎁 for me and you. All the hard work has paid off. Merry Christmas my friend.
Thanks!

@@Project2Aero thanks for the clarification. I hope you get this bird in the air soon.
Just wondering which ECU you used for this project? Stock? Aftermarket?
HypersportsUSA. It’s a plug n play link ecu. Highly recommend the guys at Hypersports 👍
Now you just need wooshy noises!
Any new updates?
Soon.. just waiting on parts at the moment.
Cool thanks
Excuse me while I clean up a mess. I just peed a little. Maybe a lot. That sounds mean.
Thanks doc!
Sounds sweet. Congrats!
