Fight with Cobia on light gear

Barracuda were everywhere getting the fish scared. I used a soft bait as a teaser since fish are less stress to get closer to a soft bait than to a hard bait. After few times of jigging I felt a first strike, i dropped my line and got a second one. I repeated and the third strike was a hook-up. After that the fight lasted for 17 minutes and i managed not to loose the fish despite several missed gaff hits that increased the duration of the fight.
Gear used:
tairubber rod max 80 grams.
