Since it's #halloween this month.... Here's a Horror Soundtrack "The Darkest Hour" by Mayur Bharadwaj Hazarika.
The concept for this soundtrack is about a demonic entity haunting a little child. There is a certain hour when the activities are most vigorous. Hence the name of the soundtrack...
The soundtrack has three acts.
First being the random timing indicating strangeness and confusion, the feeling of "something is wrong".
Second act has the clock ticking sound indicating the haunting has begun.
The third act being the reveal of the entity to the child. The child is terrified of the demon's presence in the room, slowly approaching her.
A lot of inspiration for the horror soundtracks came from composers such as Joseph Bishara.
