Humanity’s Last Breath has been a personal catalyst and soundtrack to my journey of becoming a professional 3D artist. I started listening to them on my first sculpt and 2 years later I’ve been offered a position at EPIC games, and had an interview with Sony Santa Monica’s (God of War) lead art director. It would be an honor to create art for their album as a token of gratitude.

But of course HLM is a totally different atmosphere. Them and Vildjharta are always will be TOP TIER music writing.

when an album manages to both send you to the gym and have you contemplate life and existence as a whole, it reaches a whole new level of heavy
Its not very often you hear a song for the first time and think 'fk me that was top tier'. This is one of those lifetime favourites I'll keep coming back to

Bro the riff at 2:09 is just.... a genius masterpiece. And then when the vocals join in relentlessly continuing the melody 👌👌 I honestly unironically wouldn't mind if that part was like twice that long.

What direction is it going in? Return to earlier sound or exploring the Valde sound further?
@@destovig based off the teasers probably expands on what they did with valde, which i think is fine as they have a very unique sound.

I heard a ton of rumors of the album coming this year but holy shit I didn't actually expect it to be true. The instagram teasers have had me on the edge of my seat just waiting to hear them in their actual songs. So fucking excited for the new era of HLB 🤘
They're one of the few bands who just never disappoint me.

For some reason I have an ASMR response to this bands music. It's like it's so heavy it comes out the other side and becomes relaxing. Weird. Love HLB.
When I was a teenager and couldn't sleep, metal was the only thing that would help calm me enough to sleep. It almost puts me in a trance!

Fr, his vocals are so evil an nasty. Love it. Filip from HLB and Joe from FFAA are the best vocalist in deathcore.

Can't speak for his live stuff, but I am so glad to see people mentioning the vocals on HLB. So much focus on the absolute filth of those downtuned guitars that people forget just how good they are. Yeah he doesn't do anything groundbreaking but holy shit his vocals are the most feral and primal lows I have ever heard. I mean go listen to the song Earthless at about 3:15 into the song. Idc about production or vocal technique that shit sounds like the earth's tectonic plates opening up and something very old and something very angry screaming into space. Swedish people are just built different. I love this band so much it is unreal.

It definitely seems to be shifting back that way a bit. Even the latest In Flames and Periphery have big beefy low ends

I feel that hlb will suit well in post apocalyptic movies or trailers, lots of cliffhangers and heavy moments.
Another crushing track that proves they are the best deathcore band on the planet right now. Nobody touches the apocalyptic wall of slow brooding earth cracking heaviness that this band produces. There is no question that this will be one of the best metal albums of the year 🔥

The closest to this was Aversions Crown Xenocide. That album was pretty much living through an alien invasion watching everything you love die and the world slowly get ripped apart from the inside.

This track has grown on me way more than I thought it would it’s quickly becoming a favourite of mine
This band consistently gives me far and away the most cathartic experience I've ever had listening to music. I feel such conflicting emotions listening to them. Their music feels so foreboding to me and makes me so uncomfortable (in the best way) that I can do nothing but put my body in defensive postures: shoulders up to my ears, arms in front of my face as if to protect it, constantly stimming just to let out some of the discomfort I'm feeling... but at the same time I _groove_ through the entire track. And when it ends I feel a huge release of emotion that no other music has given me. They have boldness to never give you that release in the music, to only give it by ending the music and it _works._ These guys are incredible at what they do. Their music is unadulterated, visceral catharsis.
This is an indescribable band evolving into something beyond human. Humanity's last breath? Ok, let's get to the next level!

When I first heard Humanity’s Last Breath, it was the first time I’ve been exposed to truly heavy music. They definitelly shaped my music taste, so it makes sense I like anything they ever put out.
Absolutely brillant dudes. Love the prolonged vocals and crushing drums. Same impactful style that Humanity's Last Breath is known for. I'll be preordering the album for sure.
