Petchpanomrung is a great Muay Thai fighter and is the third greatest P4P Kickboxer of all time behind only Buakaw and Sittichai.
Trindade has one punch knockout power, and Petch still walked him down the whole fight, still threw the left kick knowing Trindade would counter the way he knocked out Haraguchi. Petch is fearless and confident, with a hundred ways to attack around Trindade’s nuclear powered fists. So fun to watch genius IQ dismantle raw power.
I dont know how could some people claim that this was a robbery lol. Petch was in controll, fighting the fight he wanted and dictated the tempo of the fight, landed more shots and was completly unaffected by miguels strikes. Great performance.

Superlek injured his knee but he will fight the winner of Nico-Nabil in Japan at ONE 172 for the Unification of the Bantamweight Muay Thai title. Kiamran Nabati will fight a new opponent.
@ can’t wait to see who Nabati will fight. In my opinion they should have done Nabati vs Nico (I’d take Kiamran to win actually). At the same time I think Nabil has a great chance against Nico, because this is pretty much the only guy in the division who’s taller than him

Kaew is in the top 10 best P4P Kickboxers of all time.

Petchpanomrung is not the number 7 best P4P Kickboxer right now ( only Beyond Kickboxing thinks that ). Petchpanomrung is the number 1 best P4P Kickboxer right now. As for Petrosyan IMO Petchpanomrung has done enough to surpass Giorgio Petrosyan. Petrosyan lost to Buakaw, Andy Ristie ( KO ), Petchmorakot and Superbon ( KO ) and he never avenged any of those losses with the exception of Petchmorakot but the rematch between him and Petchmorakot shouldn't even have happened at that time and ONE FC helped Petrosyan by making the ruleset more in favor of him. Petrosyan also should have had a draw against Mike Zambidis. Petchpanomrung only lost to Tyjani Beztati in his entire Kickboxing career and the fight against Tyjani Beztati took place at 70 KG when Petchpanomrung belonged at like 63 KG if we're honest. Petchpanomrung's loss to Wei Rui, Robin Van Roosmalen ( first fight ), Chadd Collins and his draw against Kevin Van Nostrand ( second fight ) are all robberies. Petchpanomrung has twelve wins when it comes to 5 round fights which for me is much better than 3 round fights. Most of the time Petchpanomrung barely ever lost a single round in his fights and most of the rounds where he won are absolutely one sided. Petchpanomrung also never cherry picked Muay Thai fighters and fought them under Kickboxing rules which is something that Petrosyan has done numerous times in his career like against Naruepol, Kem, Sudsakorn, Fabio Pinca, Sorgraw, Jo Nattawhut 2x, Petchmorakot 2x, Gaëtan Dambo, Nong-O ( almost happened ) and Yodwicha ( almost happened ). Petchpanomrung was/is always the smaller fighter in all of his Kickboxing fights as they took place at 65 KG, 67.5 KG and 70 KG while Petchpanomrung belonged at 59 KG, 61 KG and 63 KG at the time of fighting those fights.
petch got the first 2 rounds, controlling and low kicks, thais aren't afraid of power punchers, when its close they go for the clinch. stay far and throw kicks. miguel got the last round. miguel got power punches and telegraph too much petch saw it coming.
If you watch in slow motion, Petch's arm actually blocks Trindade's arm first to slow down the punch. Also Petch landed a very big leg kick, which took some power off the Trindade's punch and made Trindade hesitate to eat anymore leg kicks.

この日のペッチはあまり組まずにパンチ蹴り主体で闘ってたけど、決勝で組みを存分に解禁したのはミゲールを1番の強者と認めている感じがする
ミゲールを1番と認めた証、みたいな漫画のエピソードのような話ではなく、シンプルに決勝をより安全に勝つためにすぎないと思いますよ
準決勝まで6Rフルでやってるわけだし、R数でアドバンテージがある相手のペースでやるのはリスクがあるので、組んだりして上手く休みながら試合を運んでるだけだと思います
ミゲールみたいな序盤から全開で来るタイプは、大きいのをもらわないようにコツコツ当てて粘れば失速してくことを百戦錬磨のペッチ陣営ならわかってるでしょうし
