To me, this is about Jethro Gibbs and Mark Harmon. Think about it. To this point 18 Seasons of excellent acting, excellent stories. It was telling Gibbs' and Mark's life. 18 seasons the same character, a life. 18 years is from birth to high school graduation and maybe first year college. Then Season 18, talk of Mark leaving. No more Gibbs. Everyone wondering is Mark done. Is Gibbs done. Then, on the show, the boat blows up. Gibbs is face down in the water, still. Dead or Alive? Then suddenly, Gibbs jerks and starts swimming. It is like, Mark says ok, I'll stay 1 more. It is like both Mark and Gibbs both start swimming to one more season, #19.
Gibbs says all he has is Ncis. Gibbs needs a woman, a woman to love. Someone to live for beyond Ncis, to give his life meaning. That is how Mark's last season, whenever it is, needs to be and end. Not the Marcie character. A total new character. Someone that he meets unexpectedly, maybe. Someone that he can have happily everafter with. Gibbs would leave Ncis if he had a woman he loved and she loved him. Someone to walk off hand in hand with and happy. Hey, who knows, maybe surprisingly, Jack. Maybe Maria comes back for one last time, even if just to hold Gibbs'/Mark's hand as he walks away happy. ❤❤ Like what Jenny Shepherd said...You're good, you're the best. That describes Gibbs and Mark both!

Wow... This is the best video of Gibbs I have ever watch. Everything was perfect. The dialogues, all scenes, episodes you pick for editing. Everything was perfect. And last collage type video thing was awesome.

Great Video! Gibbs has seen more bad then good in his lifetime as he's suffered losing his family, being kidnapped and tortured, dealing with numerous injuries, many of which he almost died, and losing several members of his NCIS Team to death and other reasons. I wonder what Gibbs will be doing in this new season. He will probably wrap up the investigation he was working on and will probably just be doing his own thing and maybe start working as an independent or private investigator and might occasionally give advice to those who still work at NCIS. Unless some miracle happens I don't see Gibbs coming back and getting reinstated.
I'm curious on what will happen with Gibbs in the new season too. All I hope for at this point is he gets some kind of happy ending.

NCIS will not be the same without Mark Harmon, Gibbs. Season 19 episode 5 really was different. There was no umph in the show like it used to have with Gibbs around
