Taking a step out in faith is definitely an area I've had to grow in. One of the first times I really made a conscious effort to use my gift it didn't go so well... And it discoruaged me and for months I didn't try again. But God helped me build up my courage again. I took another step out in faith and this time there was fruit!! And since then it's been a journey. But your video definitely resonated with me an encouraged me! Thank you so much Amanda😊

Thinking about my gifts I´ve recognized most of them in me (wisdow maybe not so much hahaha), but I think it´s all about "simplify" Jesus. People are ALWAYS making me questions... I would have to break down an entire teaching on this concept! But yes-it’s available to ALL believers! There are lots of scriptures in Acts that can help you learn about it. I learned about it scripturally by walking through the section about the baptism of the Holy Spirit in The Purple Book. It’s a discipleship book. I may do a video on this in the future! 🤍

I appreciate your comment! I don’t believe that you must be baptized in the Holy Spirit in order to be saved, much like you don’t have to be baptized in water to be saved! However, these are certainly spiritual events that every believer should participate in!
I struggle with this as well due to my Apostolic upbringing where Acts 2:38 was overemphasized. In taking this to God, I do believe what Amanda is saying but sometimes I still wrestle with it.
We always say baptism in water is an outward show for and inward work right. We I got baptize if felt empty an felt empty I felt like something was missing but didn't know what and I was in a discussion with a now pastor and he said you must recieve the holy spirit according to Roman's 8 vs 9 but can read all to get a better understanding. So after fasting and praying for the holy spirit putting away self travail for the baptism of the holy spirit, recieve the holy spirit with power and the manifestation of the holy spirit also gifts of the spirit According to acts 2 vs 2 - 21. its hard word and discipline to recieve the holy spirit everyone can recieve the holy spirit for it is promise to believer

In verses thirty-eight and thirty-nine, he is simply telling the Jews that didn't believe, that they needed to repent and be baptized in order to be forgiven, and also that that's Holy Spirit would be given to them. This has nothing to do with speaking in tongues necessarily, it has to do with receiving the Holy Spirit. Many people receive the Holy Spirit without speaking in tongues

All we are required to do is to repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. And get baptized. Acts 2:38 through 39 clearly tells us that you receive the Holy Spirit once you believe and are baptized

I asked God to give me the meaning of the dream and said it was me, that I’m a spiritual widow. I do feel very lonely in my walk with God and I’m facing spiritual attacks alone too. I lean on my believing friends for support but wish I knew how to see through this.
