Thanks for taking the time to comment on the channel. I just found it looks better than those metal strapping plates. Glad you like it and have taken something away from our video, it's what we do it for.
looking great rich. i like the dowels on the double doors. way cleaner that those horrible plates on the back. i make little jigs like that aswell but i drill the holes in the jig so my selfcentering vix bit will go in and drill the pilot hole. that way the hole doesnt get enlarged over time.
great video, i've got a lot from it thankyou for making it, can i ask about your base unit corner posts, i'm just doing mine on my new kitchen i'm fitting, should it sit level with the drawer front or the front of the cabinet, it looks like you have done yours to the front of the unit not including the doors, is this correct?
Yes mate I always set mine level with the draw/door front so it matches how I’ve done my deco panels. Just sit a piece of scrap behind it flush with the face of the cabinets and make up a corner screwing it into the end of it through the cupboards either side. If possible stick your deco corner post on it using some mitre glue so it’s all level and square then in acre the scrap pieces and screw your corner in from the back then refix into the corner. Hope this helps happy fitting 👍🏻
Hi Billy I'm not really sure because its part of the whole job and with me not being solely a kitchen fitter my price maybe higher cos it takes me longer. Thanks for taking the time to comment on the channel
Can’t disagree with you Rick but I’d just swept the floor and there is only me messing with them so I take care when moving them around. Enjoy your weekend 👍🏻
I like the dowel to connect the 2 doors together, I'll definitely be trying that out on my next kitchen job👍

Hi, what kind of hammer do you have there?
Hi Martin it’s a fiskars Isocore 20oz. Great hammer really pleased with it 👍🏻
Id have put cardboard down before putting the face of that plinth on a concrete floor IMHO
