That applies to all sources of damage, including DoT because the damage applies before the the enemy regains their toughness at the start of their turn. Break Effect also increases the duration of entanglement and imprisonment. You can read it in the wiki. Toughness break damage if I'm correct depends on each kind of action.

I pulled Welt for my beginners and was about to delete my account, MiHoYo, and System32, but Welt is top tier. Just as expected from the 1st Herrscher... Much respect on showing the builds, most videos I see don't.
My initial choice was to get welt, just cuz he looked cool i didn't knew anything about his kit except trying him one time using support and sure enough i got lucky in that starting banner of 50 wishes. Now he deals the most damage in the team, I dont even need Hunt or Destruction characters for dps. I just go with Eridution(was serval now Jing Yuan), Preservation (MC) and, Abundance(Natasha). This can take care of everything.

Me too! I got seele, dan heng, natasha and welt on hunt path. I got enough turns that they couldn't steal any of my characters because I broke the shields with enough turns (haha imprison and weakness abuse go brr)

Just annihilated Kafka in world 5 at level 33 using Welt and some Rememberance Freeze bs. Welt is unfair in how he can deny enemies actions. I love him and actually glad I lost my 50/50 to him.

We already have one, the break effect one. Break effect increases dot damage.

It is very possible to beat Svarog without a healer if you simply get some good blessings or run some shielders
U don't need a healer If the enemy be with all dots debuffs ticking per turn
