- Ey up everyone and welcome back to the north for a new series starting today. We're going to be starting a playthrough of Crown Wars: The Black Prince, a turn based strategy RPG with, you guessed it, classes and character customisation. You love to see it!
Crown Wars is set in alternate Medieval France (I only say alternate due to the general magic and abilities) as we have to gather our forces and ride out against the evil that plagues the land of France. There will be character death, there will be character sacrifice but we will have our victory!
If you'd like to throw your lot in with this crusading crew, feel free to let me know in the comments below or hit the link in here that takes you to the Discord server

Love that we are getting more medieval games.
Considering it takes time to go to and back from missions, rather than waiting for characters to heal, it may be better to send a newbie party to these early missions, so that all party members get some levels, than being forced to send under-leveled characters to harder missions later on due to character injuries.
Can you send another party out as you wait for other party to come back? If not, you might want to level up your HQ building so you can send multiple parties out while you wait for return as missions get farther and farther out.
You would want to send as much parties as you can so that you can build more support buildings and defences before you get attacked. Same for gathering resources to build better gear.
It's less that I wasn't sending out newbies, more that I didn't want to send out randos who aren't subscriber characters that just don't matter to the series but from episode 4, we have enough subscriber characters for two teams so we do start sending several teams out at once.
Additionally for clarification you can't update the HQ building by yourself, it doesn't take upgrade materials like the other building so I'm gathering it levels up with the story.
Hey brotha love the content as always definitely love this game so far!

Now, which would you say is better wartales or this one? Or do they each do well in their own aspects?
I'd say I haven't played enough of Crown Wars yet to really judge it in that regard. From what I have played though, I do feel that, whilst they do generally sit in the same room for game genre, they also play quite differently.
Wartales has a bit more freedom in that you just create your group and you go whereas Crown Wars is a bit more linear in this sense (and you have your base, similar to Xcom instead of a constantly moving party). But I think I can say I am enjoying how the combat works more in Crown Wars already than Wartales. Don't get me wrong, I like Wartales a lot but the combat can begin to feel like a right slog especially on adaptive mode
TLDR They both have their pros and cons but I think they both work well in their own right and area of the genre. I think they're just a bit too different to compare them side to side. But maybe I'll change my mind after a few hours of Crown Wars!
bears can be quite fast. you wouldnt think it considering how big they are can reach 50 km/h
I'm suddenly quite glad I live in a country where there aren't really any bears
Bears are deceptively fast (being so strong)
It does seem our bear is even then, the speedy Gonzales of bears (Not that I'm complaining!)
Welcome to the Bear propaganda comment:
Grizzly bears are the fastest of the Ursidae family and can sprint at top speeds of 35 mph to 40 mph
