I’ve been wanting one since your earlier video but decided to treat myself today. I already have older overlockers but I need a stronger one for denims and, more currently, making triple layer various fabric masks! My others struggle to cut the fabrics at times. I always make a mask to match all my clothes and as I make ALL my clothes and make them for others I make quite a few. Thanks again, Lin
Most of the features you love are on my regular brother SL500. It’s really just the motor I’d be interested in for this model… maybe I’m not as in need of a new machine as I thought!

Yes but I generally do that anyway! Plus they can be more reliable and there is no bobbin case so no chance the case will warp the same way a side loading bobbin will!

Thats really good to know! I'll think about it as I have actually sewn with Brother, Janome and Pfaff machines so maybe there's something there!
How is the back to waist length on the dress form
really good actually! I've found its a good fit for my body overall, the shoulders are a little wide but otherwise its great!
Why a drop in bobbin? Wouldn’t it mean, you’d have to take your project (e.g. a big quilt) completely off the machine when your bobbin runs out?
