He was meant to be yours and no one else’s ! But I get you ! People r so odd about black cats ! That’s why I adopted the two ( from Home Depot ) I use to work there and they were born there and the tabby was dropped off and came running /crying up to me and that was it ! She slept in my arms while helping customers in the garden section ! Your dog is so cute snuggled up under the covers ! My favorite thing, seasonal themed bedrooms as well as bathroom and living space next. I moved a lot of my makeup and dressing things to a room that I now call my dressing room, I love it. Never regretted nor looked back!

So glad you moved that little makeup vanity ,as I always felt it did not go with the heavy grandeur of that gorgeous bed. And I love a fluffy bed visually. There use to be a store here n California years ago called Strouds.... I use to go there and drool over their luscious beds. I vowed to one day have my bed look like that. So I do have a trick that every one comments when they come into my room. Its that I take that rust colored coverlet on your end bench and I wrap it over a body pillow at the end of the bed. What a difference. Not on a bench but on the foot of the mattress. Its a wow factor .

It turned out absolutely stunning!! You have inspired me to get upstairs and get our room cleaned and cozy now. Even though our weather here is still humid and warm, I am so ready for cooler weather!! I told my hubby that I wanted to paint and just change the room up completely, and he's all for it!!
What I ended up doing to get that fluffy bedding was, I bought a winter duvet so that it is full and fluffy. I love it, the weight of the duvet feels like a weighted blanket. Then I add a blanket under that and bamboo sheet. When my grown kids come over they love to lay on my bed.

Thank you for fostering cats. I live in England and have 2 rescue cats from the same litter. One is completely black & looks like your kitty. 🐈⬛ Black cats are hard to regime here also. They used to be thought of as lucky but I think they are associated with Witches now. Minnie is the sweetest cat with the loudest purr & is so funny. She follows me around the house. She sits in the window till I come home. She’s adorable.

Ok, so I thought my Fall decorating was complete until I watched this video. Now I’m pulling out the bins with garlands, twinkle lights, pumpkins and pillows I didn’t use this year and I’m headed to my bedroom and then the guest bedroom!
