As you will see in this sort of "a week in my life" vlog, I will be reorganizing here and there in my studio apartment, share a low budget grocery haul and what I eat in a week out of the groceries I bought.

I love your “boring” daily life vlogs because I can relate to them.
I am an Aussie grandmother. I live in a one bedroom, highrise apartment in Brisbane and have a small kitchen.
I live alone with my cat too. I also don’t watch television.
Shopping and cooking for one with limited fridge and cupboard space is a challenge. However, I still keep preps.
Living in a city, with so people, is, ironically, very isolating compared to my country upbringing.
I am hundreds of kilometres from my home town and my Mum and Sister.
However, I am closer to my uncle, daughter and grandchildren.
Even without a language barrier, city living can be tough especially on a tight budget.
Although I try to live as zero waste as possible, lack of income can limit your choices.
For me, I am blessed to have local small retailers and three major supermarkets in my local vicinity.
Whenever I shop for groceries, every fortnight, I shop at several retailers. It takes some time and planning to do so.
I keep a running shopping list and check the local online catalogues for sales, then I mark my list accordingly.
I begin with my local greengrocer and butcher (if I need it).
Then on to one major chain supermarket.
After that, my local pharmacy.
On to the next major supermarket and finish with a trip to ALDI.
I know the best prices and buy accordingly. If I didn’t shop this way, I would NEVER be able to afford good food or the occasional treats.
I buy the cheapest fuel I can. I also use public transport to the CBD.
I have a strict budgeting schedule for my bills. I prepay my electricity bill and never have to get an extension to pay.
My car rego is paid every three months.
I pay extra tax every fortnight. I get all of the money back at the end of the financial year.
I use this money to service and repair my car and replace big ticket items as necessary.
I don’t carry debt or own a credit card.
I can relate to the kitty cat ruling the home. LOL
I was homeless when I got my apartment and my cat was abandoned as a kitten by his former owners when he was 3 months old.
I rehomed him and he has his name on my lease.
He also suffers from anxiety as I do, so we bonded together very well.
No, you are not boring, you are REAL.

I really enjoyed watching this. Most of us have cleaning, organizing, cooking chores we need to do on a results basis. I found this video inspiring, in fact. Really enjoyed this vlog. How awesome you can get frozen veg in a box (wish Australia would get onboard with that). I always marinate my tofu with some soy sauce/tamari and sweet chili sauce. It's so good. Love the Trainspotting poster. Been meaning to rewatch so I can watch the second movie.

Love these ordinary life vlogs. I to live alone and it's nice to se someonelse do daily things, remind me I to need to hover. When you reorganized the tower shelf I wonderd if one of those paperboxes that printing paper come in (if your office buy them) would fit? You could dress it in nicer paper.

I love those "ordinary life" vlogs, I find your videos both motivating and relaxing at the same time. Btw, you can try marinating the tofu with some garlic powder and soy sauce before baking it. It's a very simple combo but so good.
