This may be insensitive but I like to imagine someone like that going to say, heaven and meeting god and asking him if he knows how one piece will end, then he says “course not man that shit is legendary I can’t spoil myself, hey a new episode came out today, you probably haven’t seen it yet”. Then he just pulls out a tablet and says, “wanna watch? cause I was about to watch it.”

Even better, for the early songs, they're using the lyric's from Funimation's English versions of the songs. I've heard that version of We Are so many times, I just instinctively sing it in my head every time I just hear those opening notes.

im 17 now and ive been watching this show since I was only 5 years old so hearing this mixed with where we are in the manga rn makes me so happy that I break into tears, my childhood is coming to an end and so is my favorite series
You still have like 10 years, final saga is gonna be long. The last one took 7 years to finish.

"We Are" the best op of One Piece rather would like to say best in all types of anime opening which defines anime main theme.
It really helped when We Are was used in the show in iconic moments like when going reverse mountain or up the knock up stream to Skypeia. Heck some of the ost mirrors the instrumentation of We Are
And We Are is used three times as One Piece themes

It's fun being a generation that to this day enjoys One Piece, and listening this song gives me encouragement 👍
one piece is one of, if not the greatest anime/manga to ever be made. You just need to get past the art style being a little weird (and then it will grow on you and then it becomes awesome lol). It honestly has something for everyone. Its funny, action packed, super powers, pirates, antiheros (they technically are since they are technically bad guys), devastatingly sad (belle mere-san *cry*), a vastly wide world that has such a fantastic lore, and my god the damn music is utterly fantastic. This show easily teaches you how to value your friends and family. I will admit i did not like this show when it first premiered on wb17 cause they butchered the fuck out of it and the art at first was a huge turnoff but man i started watching it early 2010s and fell in love with it.
@@densetsu4286 I understand how you admire this anime. Since watching it for the first time, i thought this anime had an inviting story line, so i also read the manga One Piece to this day. If we admire the anime, of course listening to the songs is also fun. One of my favorite songs in this anime is "Memories"
