Applications and Interpretations focuses more on "real-world", practical mathematics, whereas Analysis and Approaches gets more into the theoretical, abstract, super-nerdy stuff. Therefore, AI at standard and higher levels is more akin to Math Studies and current Math SL, respectively. AA standard and higher levels is comparable to Math HL and further Math HL, respectively. So if you are like me when I was in high school, not caring much for the subject, then you should go for Math: Apps. From what I understood, you’re planning to pursue a chemistry and physics related degree for your undergraduate degree. my dude god damn 40 awesome, and i see your point on picking your subjects carefully and i was wondering if your are at any help on past papers or what so ever, since am starting Ib this year.\3
Yeah, cool man, you mention LSE has a non preferable subject that is Business and Management. Mate. Look at the IB statistic bulletin; 4% get 7 in business and 11% or so got 7 in economics. Your argumentation is flawed from here and beyond. Yes, if you want to study science then do the subjects they ask for, but be cynical about the subject choices and don´t listen to this guy.
+Bror N Go to I understand your point, but you also need to consider that almost all schools, business management isn't even a prerequisite for their business courses. I took business management, almost everybody does bad because everybody takes it lightly, not because it's a hard subject. Also, I said in the end that you should only pick relevant subjects, you don't only need to pick hard ones. Its not very nice to accuse somebody that their being cynical when you haven't watched the full video. Me taking business added no value to my IB score, I was 2 points away from a 7. So I'm speaking from experience. Having said that, have a nice day :)
IB like Cole again, your argumentation is flawed. Economics is neither a prerequisite for economics courses, in general that is. It's not rude to say that people are cynical with their choices, I was when I chose math studies simply because I will study law, and have no need for math.
IB like Cole furthermore, your argumentation is again solely based on anecdotal evidence. "People don't take business as seriously as economics" that is a ridiculous statement. Yeah? Take physics if you plan on applying to MIT, and you might actually cover that aspect in the video, but your title says otherwise. It is clickbait, and it's annoying to watch a video with such flawed argumentation.
+Bror N Hey Man, if you don't agree with my viewpoint, thats fine. You don't have to take my advice. Furthermore, why don't you ask a business IB student how seriously they take the subject compared to other subjects like economics, biology or chemistry. A lot of times IB Business is a "filler" subject that you take because you need to take a subject in that category or you just need another subject. It's almost never a prerequisite for anything you study in university. I don't understand how my video is click bait, when I directly discuss a flawed thinking that many students make when choosing their subjects to maximize their points. By repeating the statement " your argument is flawed " doesn't make my argument flawed.
okay but how the FUCK did he get a 7 in HL Math??
+Smoll Bean Lara he's just a brainiac and a super nice guy
Smoll Bean Lara lmao 😂
