How's the weather down there? You can do business in dubai but I'd be careful with investment in case it becomes a ghost town when no longer propped up by oil money. As for tax shelter, make sure it's worth the hassle. Closer might be more interesting ultimately like monaco or even spain I think has modest tax for foreigners.
@@DanFrederiksen It's actually quite interesting but also incredibly technical and likely not worth it for sub-nine figure corporations. Their corporation tax rate is currently 12.5% which is horrendously low (The UK is 19%). But the principal benefit is you can still operate your company from the UK, US etc. It involves a complicated web of intellectual property right licensing fees that will shift your income from X state to Ireland and be charged at their tax rate instead. A 7.5% difference in tax wouldn't be all that great if you aren't turning over big numbers. But for companies such as Apple, Facebook etc, its the route that they choose as it saves them hundreds of millions.
Weather is amazing Dan, especially during their winter. The tax situation is for our business set up not investment and with only having to enter the country once every 365 days even for a week it makes a lot of sense for us personally. 0% income and 0% corporation tax. We’ll keep learning about it and share more as we do!

nope, you just have to enter the country once (get your passport stamped) every 365 days on the visa we will have (some visas are every 6 months). However you can't spend lots of time in other countries (depending on their rules) so you could travel around a lot, or reside in a few places (each place has different rules on how long you can stay). We will probably stay in Dubai 2 months or so a year I think.

We did, that’s how we decided to go for the meetings :) we’ve been looking into it for the last few months but you still need a lawyer to get everything set up correctly!

@@mattandsummer not for sure it's boring superficial just how many times can you go to a mall or look at Bentleys, bling or see those skyscrapers....... The work culture is rotten even the people that were born there find it super boring most of the time it's too hot everyday looks the same to do anything, air con freezing inside eye infections and colds, and who wants skin cancer discrimination is rife they treat the workers in construction and service industry appallingly akin to slavery I couldn't just look on I gave the cleaners food and money they had poor wages and treated so badly where I worked, so for all the money I earned and it was a lot, I ran so fast away from it I kissed the ground in the UK when I got back...... I would never ever go back I would rather be poor and interesting than let that place change me into an idiot or turn a blind eye to the abuse and discrimination that goes on its medieval
