I beg to disagree with the good professor as Sara Duterte must be impeached and be disqualified to hold any public office, which can only be done by way of exercising this legal and political measure, making impeachable officials disqualify/remove from oublic office.

This is a political move. 1) He officially distanced himself from the issue so that VP will lose her rote that it is PBBM pinning her down. 2) If impeachment is not successful since there are still Duterte allies in almost all the upper branches of the government, PBBM will not be implicated. 3) If VP or her family goes aggressive, PBBM can have grounds in using Martial Law as this statement made public that he is NOT retaliating in any way, shape or form. Which in this case, the President can put all the Duterte allies in jail with one fell swoop which bypasses all the lengthly legal proceedings.

I like the line of questioning. Not satisfied with the answers, especially about what possible positive/benefit outcome can the congressional inquiry lead to. If it's not ultimately good for the country that Sara gets impeached, isn't she liable in the eyes of the law? The professor interviewed probably forgot that sara and her father mustn't be allowed to get away with all their destabilizing, uncalled for and illegal actions.

I'm not convinced about the issue being legal or political. The issue is that these people are similar to plotting an insurrection or mutiny, which is seditious and criminal in nature. These types of people should not be working inside the government. The use of its resources has been abused. There is no way that these people should remain in any government position.
