Mantorok totally. that album is absolutely beautiful. I found them through this song as well and when I heard the Pinback original I was travelling to BC Canada to move in with my girlfriend at the time and had my daughter. my life has since gone to shit and listening to the album by Pinback is very difficult because it's that raw and fucking awesome.

this isn't acoustic. the edited sounds the same, and this doesn't sound acoustic. it sounds very close to acoustic but you can tell there's editing. still really good though

saosin is not trash though, each band member are VERY talented at what they do, their drummer? kicks ass. Their guitar players? kick ass.
