@Array_EB Deepwood is also an option for Thoma in Kinich teams.
@@supersonicgood yeah absolutely, but that’s a an artifact set multiple characters can use on Kinich teams so I didn’t want to confuse people by diving into team specific artifacts people could tech onto him.
You are right though!
Thoma has become a lot better over the last number of patches. He has so many new partners that he can use and I love it

@@TastelessIllness hey I mean it’ll work! It won’t be optimal but it will save you from having to switch builds which is a headache sometimes
or the 2em 2em triple hp% mainstat 😂(or ER sands if needed)

I've been using Thoma for a long time and I got him on a four piece Gilded Dreams set, with a random Pyro Damage Bonus goblet that I got in the domain that has Navia's artifact set (which I was farming for Kachina). He's such a great character and has gotten me through a lot. Prior to the Gilded Dreams, I had him on a two piece Husk of Opulent Dreams (I forget what the others were), on the assumption him being a tank meant having him be more defensive would be good.

with Kinich as the new better Dendro DPS for Burning and Burgeon.....Thoma is a go to character for him
@@alvin081988 yeah I’d say he’s best with burgeon for Kinich. Dehya and Xiangling are better for burning if you have them 👍
@@Array_EBnot Xiangling since most of the time her Pyronado does even hit opponents as Kinich moves around.
@@ahadayaz4139 yes it does it only doesn’t hit when you move too far away from the enemies near the end of the skill, but burning will still be up allowing for max point generation

@@Bifragura yep, with a Pyro or Dendro hard hitter: Kinich, Arle... I heard you can also use Cryo as it doesn't use up Pyro aura as fast so maybe Wrio will work although I don't have him...

So i have c2 thoma and i use deepwood for kinich team idk if i should build him er hp hp since im using er hp em for balance stats but i also want some sustain, should i chane the em circlet to hp?

Weirdly enough, for Kinich in particular: despite me using EM thoma, I'm starting to think about using HP thoma cause Kinich tends to end up dying a lot if I'm not using bennett and Xinqiu in particular for healing and dmg reduction. Kinich moves around so much that he will tend to slide right in front of an enemy's attack which usually gets him killed unless he has those other two supporting him at all times. 😅
@@kookio4284 it can work! If you’re playing with Bennett you could always just build 2pc 2pc HP in general or go for an HP/ER build for the new Scroll of the hero of cinder city set to support the Kinich team specifically

I wonder if the Natlan support artifacts (Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City) would work for the HP build?
Thoma is not a Nightsoul character, so it’s a measly 12% damage bonus. It may still be better than no buffs if you’re shielding Neuvilette, Mualani, or Yelan who don’t benefit from Noblesse Oblige’s ATK.
My Thoma is built half and half (ER, EM, HP on 2+2 EM) because I use him for Imaginarium Theater: just so he gives something for whatever random party the challenge throws at me
@@studiesinflux1304 Scroll is probably a decent choice for a Mualani team for now as she benefits from it and synergizes with Thoma, but Neuv has bad synergy as he uses charged attacks meaning only one instance of Pyro comes out every charge attack.
Building an in-between build with 2pc EM and 2pc Hp is solid if you just want a general build. 👍
Hey would em thomas or even half em half hp work in a kinich burgeon team you think?(with furina as the hydro applicator) I consider maybe half hp half em to make it. Abit easier to play even tho its not optimal
@@gangety hey! Personally I like going for an EM focused build in burgeon and Furina isn’t my favourite hydro for burgeon since the application is slow, but you could technically do a hybrid build but just know it won’t be as strong as a more EM focused build. If you’re worried about survivability and want better hydro application for burgeon I suggest running Xingqiu as your hydro applicator. If you want Furina then make sure to run Bennett or something so you have a healer at least but it won’t be a team with a lot of burgeons. Instead Furina will be vaping the burning aura most likely

I have c6 thoma and c0 kinich ,furina should i use Bennett or dendro mc (with deepwood) or xiangling ??
@@Vineetpatel79 I don’t really like Thoma + Furina as it becomes too difficult to really make a functional team. Furina needs a healer and Thoma likes burgeon teams. Furina has slow hydro application so you don’t get a lot of burgeons + she doesn’t buff burgeon damage.
You’d probably rather play Kinich, Xiangling, Furina, Bennett if you want Furina or play Kinich, Xingqiu, Bennett, Thoma if you wanna use Thoma

Is it possible to build him on triple-em mainstat flower of paradise but with hp% + flat hp sub stats to find some sort of middle ground? ( assuming he's c5)
@@mr.miscellaneous1079 you can as some sort of hybrid build just note that it will be average in both categories instead of excelling in either or. Remember to make sure you have enough ER for him though!

I was thinking triple Em Mainstats for around 559.5 Em
R5 Kitian for 110 Em and the rest( just pray ) I roll high on hp substats+ er (which is honestly less of an issue at C4)

@@blacktiger2880 it’s not really the best option because works well with normal attackers and lyney uses charge attacks. You CAN if he’s your only shield option but Zhongli is better. Even options like Dehya, Yanfei or Xinyan are more recommended

U would have to swap artifa ts and weapons and level him ti the full just in case everytine u put him in a different reaction team
@@YukiTheOkami You can just build him one way and leave it at that, that’s what I currently do! I prefer the EM build for my teams specifically.
Also when you get other artifact sets when farming for other characters, just keep them to the side just in case you want to level them. 😊

Probably why TGS being European means he is the only Genshin creator who actually gets it right.
