Ugh! Hate excessive heat and especially humidity. Fortunately its been pretty cool of late her in New England, but that's sure to change as we get deeper into August. It's good you have a choice of swing gate and stepping individually. Are you able to do stairs?

Yes, so basically I am helping out a charity away from home all week so the signal hasn't been that good. I'm looking forward to getting home and posting normally (the internet is pretty bad here) Thank you btw
Thanks for making this video. I am going to do more practices tomorrow. I use only one crutch as I can fall a hard with two. One suggestion is to walk in the most comfortable environment first. It’s hard enough to focus on your movement and not to fall or twist your ankle. The hot weather, poor condition pavement is not going to help. At the very least find the best time of the day to do the exercise. If you like outdoor, that’s fine. My condition is worse than you in some way and better than others.
@@khakilife3 but most importantly is not to fall, i looses reflex as I have spinal cord compression in T5-T8. Can control the muscles to some extent but I can get spasms and fall. Two crutch is definitely needed for your situation. Try to get the form right as much as possible. Walk in a room with w bars and mirrors. I got new injury after the spinal cord compression cause I didn’t know how bad loss of sensation means. New injury means in addition of lost of sensation I broke my tibia and got an IM nail implant. So don’t get additional new injury as that can happen. Mental focus is very important when you walk. You have to relearn how to walk. I use a electric wheelchair when I am not at home so to save energy for exercise only.i use a crutch with armband so it doesn’t fall on the ground and I’ll need extra effort to pick it up. You are young so there are many possibilities of recovery or improvement. You can develop other parts of your body that’s still functioning normally. Having strong upper body helps.
How long have you been injured? It sounds like it was quite a bad incident for your sci I don't know how much more I can improve but I will continue to keep going. Thank you
Hey, I’m recently diagnosed with neuropathy from a back injury and diabetes. I waited until I couldn’t walk until I said something to my doctor so I’m really progressed and I’m using forearm crutches and afo braces due to drop foot now but will need a wheelchair in the near future and need one now to get around in public. I don’t know where to get a wheelchair like yours because I want to be as independent as I can. So I come to ask where did you get yours at?
I'm sorry to hear that is happening to you. I got mine from the NHS. The company it is from though is called "quickie" the model is the argon 2 However I'd look at some other companies for their products too such as invacare, jay and ki mobility

I know you probably have said before but what exactly is your disability? I use to use crutches all the time but when I gained weight it was harder for my legs to hold my weight so I am pretty much wheelchair bound now

I appreciate the support. I don't think it's because of the disability though. I personally have a theory it's because of my content. I've mentioned it in a few videos but I feel like too many of my videos are just me talking and not doing much

well done young man, impressive. the heat must be horrible there, I know it has been here
Thank you. I think it's more of an issue with me not handling any heat rather than the heat being bad😅

Thank you for the tips. Good luck with your practice, hope it goes well. I struggle using 1 crutch because I end up leaning too much
@@khakilife3 yes, I am leaning on one side more.

No problem, thank you. I got mine due to a blood clot after getting epiglottitis. Doctors aren't 100% sure what happened but that was their guess

Not normally however if I'm having a bad leg day and then do a lot of exercise then it can ache a little
