(Spoiler warning) Yeah. Except when you’ve beaten Return of the Mammalians, the fish-eaten bear statue is replaced with a bear-eating fish statue. Nevertheless, LOL! But something always bothers me about Splatoon 3… I get that Big Run is supposed to be a mode for fun, but in the context of the lore, shouldn’t Grizzco Industries be facing liquidation for illegal research? If you’ve played Return of the Mammalians, you know exactly what the golden eggs are used for in the first place since the events of Splatoon 2. In that context, it would make Big Run (and Salmon Run in general) absolutely pointless. There are hints pointing to who is running Grizzco now, but the most important question is why? Something just doesn’t add up. You’d think for a company compromised for illegal activities (even when the employees are unaware what they’ve been doing the entire time) they would face a shutdown order from authorities, ceasing all operations. In TF2’s case with Mann Co., illegal stuff or not, it’s supposed to nonsensical. No logic necessary. But in Splatoon’s case, the story mode and Salmon Run has left me more questions than answers. (At least until the “paid-DLC” gets released.) (Um… Splatoon 3 - Order Expansion?)
bit spoiler dere but luckily I finished the story a couple days ago I don't really know much bout the lore (which I really should catch up to it at some point lol) Even I'm wondering how Salmon run is still running, so really hoping we'd get answered for our question and not answer leading to more questions From what I heard the Grizzo communication dialouge are pre-recorded so Grizzo Isn't actually communicating with us during our shift, it's automate its
