Why does briana constantly say she does it all by herself? No she doesn’t, she lives with her mom and sister and they help substantially with her kids.

Is it just me who was a little upset when they let Nova straighten her hair like her hair was already beautiful before and maybe DeVoin’s sisters could’ve educated her on her hair and taught Brianna how to maintain protective hairstyles for her daughter. Just straightening her hair kind of erases the history of her heritage
BlackWidow thank goodness because as a fellow sister I felt that when Nova said she wanted her hair straight. Like I’ve been fully natural for almost 4 years now because I finally worked up the courage to tell my mum to stop relaxing my hair. She still doesn’t like it but my scalp is thanking me 😂😂😂
BlackWidow oh my goodness I thought I was the only one - like I still have those scabs on my scalp and my dandruff is so bad because of it - the stress from school doesn’t help either. I’m so glad someone can relate 😂😂

My baby daddy didn’t want me to have my son to begin with. He wanted me to get an abortion and he didn’t want to be involved in our lives. I remember telling him constantly that if he wants to be involved I will never force him too, but the door will always be open. I never told him he could never see his son… so yeah it’s pretty fucked up when a parent who does want to be involved and the other parent says “no”
I don’t think she realizes how much this will affect Nova as she gets older. She was right that actions speak way louder than words. And it’s her and her families actions that are SO LOUD.

I went through this with my two older daughters... They are half black and im Mexican/white. We live in a small town with nothing but white people. There is like maybe 4-5 black families now in our small town. But one day my daughter was upset and I kept asking her why
She told me why couldn't they be white and that they are dark and kids where making fun of their hair 😭 it tore me up and broke my heart into a million and one piece!!! I told them that they are so beautiful and there is so MANY woman that pay a lot of money to get their hair curly like theirs and they have the most beautiful spiral curly hair. I remind my daughters ALL THE TIME that they are beautiful and nothing is wrong with them and to love their self! As a mother we have to love our children and lift them up and to teach them how to love their self!!

Lord knows I try my best with all 4 of my children and I want them to ALWAYS love their self and appreciate their race and their beautiful amazing cruly hair that god blessed them with.. As A mother I can only do my job and remind them daily how smart, beautiful & amazing they truly are and that they are so loved and cherished by both parents. Their dad reminds them daily too! If we as parents don't show our children love who else will?

Their friendship/co-parenting has come a long ass way since the beginning on 16 and pregnant. Devoin has grown and is now a great dad to both her kids. Stella might not b his biologically but he treats her like his. He does for her what he does for Nova and that is what makes him a real man by being a father to not only his daughter but also his daughters' sister.
I wouldn't say consistent but he definitely tries more than Louis. He actually sees his kid (from what we see) and even helped with Louis kid and she forces him to pay child support is always up his ass about child support but doesn't have that same energy with Louis who doesn't do anything. She's so dumb

I don't think she actively kept them away from Nova though. Devoin stood in the way of his family being close to her. I don't think he petitioned for any type of custody or visitation schedule. In some states grandparents can go to court for visitation rights themselves.
