I want to see a part 3
@@spidertubethecoolguy2576 I love jaws movie
we need more Star Wars because it cool
What about Thomas and friends
ok i thought my yt was bugged
Don’t you hate when you know the song but you can’t remember what it’s from?
Can't realate, didn't recognise half the songs OR movies
Happened 3 times in the first 5 songs
Facts straight facts
Most of the time I never even heard of the source material
I can relate
I’ve listened to Merry-Go-Round of Life so many times I recognized the song from the first two chords lol. Awesome job!
Fun fact: Merry Go Round of Life is a waltz
I have pretty much did that but for the Pokémon game theme
Hell YES who wouldn’t listen to it at least 50 times?
I'm watching Howl's moving castle in this exact moment so, I think it's a bit a cheat
@@fabulouschild2005 Yep. Listening to it, you can almost picture everybody dancing around to it like in the scene when Howl and Sophie are jumping from rooftop to rooftop before he gets her safely home.
Technically, Holding Out for a Hero is originally from Footloose, but be a Bonnie Tyler made it a hit on the radio, people forget. So Shrek 2 was a cover.
Ik, as soon as I heard that one, I was like “footloose”!
It was amazing cover tho. Gives me so many goosebumps
Short Circuit 2 had it too, that's what movie I remember it from myself. The theme has been used many times in cinema that you really can't pin it down to one film at this point.
Yup, this is Footloose all the way. Video creator is showing their age! LOL
Shred įš thę ŵõßt ìñ thė ŵiõrłd
*Thank you* for putting Endgame here! Not only do I love Endgame, but I also love the song in it. I was thinking, "Kiss me once, kiss me twice, kiss me once again.... It's been a long, long time" as the music played. Kitty Kallen was a lovely singer
for some reason i thought it was Up lmao
This song was also in Captain America: Winter Soldier! It was played on the radio when Fury was sitting on Steve Rodger's chair after Fury found out that Shield had been compromised.
It's not even the theme to endgame. Portals woulda been better for this.
The problem use it's been in other movies, too. I think it was in one of the movies about the black fighter pilots on WWII.
It’s also played at one point or another in every captain America movie as well
Amadeus is such a masterpiece, I love that you chose Salieri's most catchy tune from that movie.
Ironic considering how he and the rest of the world saw the majority his music as "forgettable" after his time
Actually it wasn't composed by Salieri. It's composed by Mozart ironically. It's called Non Piu Andrai from his opera Le Nozze di Figaro :)
@@PianoMan333 Wow did not know that! I respect the movie even more for playing on my ignorance then, so brilliant
@@PianoMan333 Exactly, it's a kind of variation on this aria. Mozart also used that for the dinner scene of Don Giovanni.
Also, while Salieri's music isn't as well-known as Mozart's, he was a gifted composer in his own right, and many of his compositions are still played today.
3:29 this is on another level, that's emotion.
Probably because this isn't movie music. It's a piece composed by Chopin, imo one of the greatest pianists of all time. It's called Nocturne (No. 20). Chopin's Nocturnes are really beautiful
@@Paal2005 bro, i already knew all the think's you wrote:) i know Chopin and the Nocturnes so.. It's not movie music because it was not composed for the movie, but it is used in the pianist, so we can say that it is the main soundtrack of the film.
Spirited Away, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars AND Ghostbusters in one video? Had you included Frozen and My Neighbor Totoro in this video you'd have my life summed up right here.
OMG, The serotonin boost at 5:48
I loved the soundtrack for Spirited Away
Pretty scary scenes like when the spirit ate froggy boy! :(
@@vienakainaripata8912 yeah...
Anyone remember nausicca. My favorite movie of all time one of the few to actually make me cry watching it
Spirited Away is awful and VERY VERY OVERRATED.
@@user-tt5cg9yp8l if you don’t mind, may you explain why spirited is a bad movie? I love to hear people’s different thoughts!
The way you mixed Son of Flynn and the Tron Theme was pretty nice actually
0:57 idk why bit bit just sounds so haunting and melancholy great video as always
its a old song by kitty kallen called It's been a long, long time :)
Me literally wondering why the theme for pianist fit so well on piano: *HMMMMMM*
guessed 8, quite proud of myself, but also never saw some of these movies, which I defo should do soon.
Definitely! These are great movies :)
1:52 you know, we are not supposed to talk about that.
Please keep making these. This is the best movie quiz on UA-cam. The others are easy. This is fantastic, plus it’s challenging since it’s just piano and not the actual song.
Yes but no muting and use the PROPER titles!
4:31 you hear those first chords and chills begin to grow.
13 caught me off guard, its on of my fav movies and i NEVER expected it to make a list like this
KNEW: Howl's Moving Castle, Jaws, Star Wars (cantina band), Halloween, Forrest Gump, Ghostbusters
KNEW BUT COULDN'T PLACE: Spirited Away, LotR, Gladiator
When 'I Need a Hero' played my brain scrambled to remember one of the several movies that use that song. The earliest I could recall was Short Circuit 2.
The second one I recognized because I played minion Rush as a kid. It's still amazing.
You say "Shrek 2" but I say "Short Circuit 2" because that's where I first heard that song, and one of the moments that shaped my young mind back in the day.
Same here, after that I couldn't trust the rest of the video...
And I said footloose because that's the movie the song was made for
I smiled when I heard the forrest gump one :)) such a heartwarming movie.
4:46 It ends right at the moment where the best part is about the start!
*stuffs a rice ball into my mouth*
YES!! I had to hum the rest of it because you can't play that song and NOT get to that part
What is that song name?
@@ZaVoido One Summer’s Day by Joe Hisaishi from Spirited Away
@@eliben4066 thank you
Guess the musical or movie musical would be a fun concept
this one was so much easier than part 1, got 22/25. cant wait for part 3!
If there is a part 3
Is there tho
part 1 i knew all except for UP and interstellar. they were all iconic films i watched many times. this one most of the films i never heard of or didnt watch at all
“The Good, The Bad, and the Piano Man”
Tron: Legacy gave me chills.
Haven’t seen the movie, but that song gives me that scary gut feeling you get before riding a roller coaster, thanks to Shanghai Disneyland
when I saw what the answer was, I had to replay it! but yeah It gave me chills too
LOTR has a lot of iconic themes... And you decide to use the Shire theme twice...
I was watching the 3rd one, and then I was like “hmmmm.. I wonder if they would do a song from like spirited away, or howls moving castle or blah blah blah, and the LITTERILY on the the next one- is howls moving castle. Nice vid!
Although the third song is from the Avengers movie, the end game; that original song "It's been a long, long time" is from the 1940 with kitty Kallen being one of the singers for it.
Uhh. #3 isn’t a theme from a movie. It’s called “It’s Been A Long Long Time” and it was written by Bing Crosby in 1945. He wrote it for soldiers returning home from World War 2 to loved ones.
LOVED IT.
I got Howl’s Moving Castle, Lala Land, Halloween, StarWars, Lord of the Rings, and Ghostbusters. I’m pretty sure there was one more, but I forgot what it was.
That wasn’t city of stars it was “Mia and Sebastian’s theme”
You need to do another including Les Mis, Phantom of the Opera, and then Star Wars for a third time (but with the Imperial March this time [but for a very short amount of time guess we'd get that right away :-)])
For the 22th track you have my great respect!
Same here! (I did not expect to see TRON: Legacy here)
for the last one I yelled with complete confidence "MarioKart"
I was SOOOOOOOOO surprised to see TRON: legacy here, I had to replay to hear it but when I did, I made a LOT of happiness noises you have sincerely earned my respect and subscription 😆😁🥰🤩👌👍
00:04 I think you played the song for a long time, it should have been less
I can recognize jaws anywhere
Ikr
Me too, that and Halloween I know like instantly
"Holding out for a hero" was first seen in Footloose as it's directly in its soundtrack album (Bonnie Tyler wrote the song for that movie). But also in Short Circuit 2, long before being in Shrek 2!
I only knew 3... I feel really uncultured so now I'm gonna go watch some movies, and recommendations?
I knew _Forrest Gump_ from just the first few notes. Love that film!
6 out of 25. This was a lot harder. Although I haven't seen Halloween I recognized the song after watching people's light shows with that song. Then I also got Ghostbusters right away
@Pianoman333
The #3 song is originally from Captain America: Winter Soldier, I remember it from that and was disappointed when it was listed as Endgame, despite the fact I don't remember it being in endgame moreso than Winter Soldier (plus it's in the official Winter Soldier soundtrack and that was 2014, long before endgame.)
Forgot to count, probably got about 10. The ones I knew within the first few chords were either the ones done by Joe Hisashi (the Ghibli films) or Son of Flynn by Daft Punk (TRON Legacy)
For whoever’s wondering, the sing in fight club is “Where is my Mind?” Knew that cause it’s the only song I play well lol
And I know that song because of "Malignant". I haven't watched "Fight Club" yet :D
@@elvenoormg5919 watch it, one of the best psychological movies imo
@@elvenoormg5919 Same.
That’s where it’s from! I recognised it but really struggled to place the song and name of the film
That Lord of the Rings arrangement was a doozy.
Even those of us who haven't seen Jaws can somehow identify its theme song. I don't know how. :)
I believe it's because of all the parodies.
I didn't. I heard that and thought Shark Tale.
To whoever made the subtitles for this video thank you
The piano throws u off so much with the gladiator one
1:03
Knobby seams to remember that song first appeared in the MCU in Winter Solider before it did in Endgame
Humiliated Salieri's face popping up made me lol
So good!
i’m ashamed that i didn’t recognize spirited away one of my all time favorite movies
When I heard the jazz music for number 6, I instantly thought of La La Land, actually the best movie ever because Sebastian had actually learnt to play the piano just to improvise this movie, anyways this is a god movie really good.
Its crazy how many of these i recognise even if i have never watched the movie.
Nice,I like it very much!,!!! !
Would love to see one of these videos for tv themes.

I really like it

"How Ironic"
I only got Jaws, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, and Ghostbusters. I need to broaden my movie horizons; I did even worse than last time and I was criticized for missing Up then!
I have not seen The Pianist but guessed it anyway because the song seems to be very complicated and fits well for the film about pianists, and that was the only one that I could remember.
I laughed out loud when Salieri's march came on.
If there is a part 3 I’d love to see The Phantom of the Opera.
Can you do the Tales of arcadia themes? Thanks.
HOLDING OUT FOR A HERO WASN'T THE THEME OF SHREK 2 OMG- No wonder I didn't get it-
It should've been footloose
That first one went by way too quick
It's messed up
>I Need A hero Begins
Me: Flash Dance?
Shrek 2
Should have known...
I get that the song was in Shrek, but for me Holding Out for a Hero will always be the song from Short Circuit 2.
Harder than part one for various reasons but some classics here. I was hoping Last of the Mohicans would come up.
2:48 A Million Dreams, we played the Greatest Showman songs in concert band my senior year of high school
I was really obsessed with minions as a kid and my I could tell it by the first note. 😂
Should you ever make a part 3, please make sure to include the title theme to Das Boot instead of filling slots with soundtracks from movies that were already featured in the other two.
Its funny too see that the howling castle was inspired bye shostacovich waltz 2
I didn’t have the slightest clue on most of these, since I’ve never seen most of the movies in this list lol
Too many obscure tunes in this one. Guessed a few though.
7/25
I need to see more movies I guess lol
Halloween that song is always stuck in my head
21 - Short Circuit 2, though I find it funny that it applies to Shrek 2 as well.
I don't see how anyone could have gotten The Good, the Bad and the Ugly from that tiny clip! Not fair!
For some reason, the piano itself makes it very hard for me to connect the tunes to the original. Half of them I knew I'd heard somewhere but only guessed 2 right lol
Wow, this was tougher than part one only got maybe 5 right out of 25 this time.
Big ol' seven right. I gotta watch more movies
I only guessed star wars And thats only because I played lego game a few years back... :)
Same :D
Lux Aeterna caught me off guard. Haven’t thought about that movie in years.
Number 21 is Short Circuit and you can't convince me otherwise
Halloween was my favourite one
It took me a bit to associate Holding Out for a Hero with Shrek. I knew the song instantly but that's not what I associate it with first XD
Inception is one of my favorite movies!!
I got 6/25, which is a very low score
I only got:
Despicable Me
Star Wars
Spirited Away
Shrek 2
Jaws
Ghostbusters
Thr jaws theme hit me with a ptsd of the guardian theme from botw
no how to train your dragon in either video is criminal
*I immediately recognized the Tron theme because my dad wanted me to see it when I was younger.*
You had Lord of the Rings in both videos :)
I had really expected Silent Hill in one of these at least.
Score: 3/25 Amazing 😍
I got Fight Club, Star Wars, Lord Of The Rings, and Jaws.
So basically all the entries from movies I've actually seen.......and Jaws.
