I contacted Mikstore Car Accessories they make the FL5 carbon fiber vented hood for the FE1 , so I was trying to ask them a few things like is the FL5 style carbon hood a dirrect bolt replacement and does it line up with the fenders and upper front number for the FE1 ? And is it the same part number use for the FE1 or do they make FL5 hoods for both cars with different part number? Their response " FL5 is different by a few CM " " we offer hoods for both cars" 🤔 that still did not answer my question tho pls help. As long as the out side body lines up with the stock FL5 to the So I can always retro fit the hinges.

i got this issue now and my startup animation works fine but yeah having trouble with the modes on the app they either make one of my lights stuck in one mode while the other other is doing it’s own random thing, solid colors work fine but yeah the modes are where i’m having issue so following up with this comment if someone finds a fix
finally, a tailight that somewhat resembles the original. The only other style out there looks horrible. I am still waiting for someone to make clear tails of the original design.

Ever since I got the car. I had the car November 2021. I thought it was just there for no reason, like some other cars do especially for base models. But lately, I've been seeing same model as mine and their trunk light is working and mine isn't. I didn't change or do anything with the car when it comes to it. I've just replaced the reverse light to an LED but other than that nothing more.
That's the problem with lots of aftermarket items, they may have quality control, reliability, and longevity issues in some cases. You have a show, display car. These taillights are awesome, but yeah, I would probably just get the LED LasFit bulbs and the sequential turn signal lights to replace the lower OEM bumper reflectors. I believe the latter also fits on the HR-V, which I believe has full LED taillights, along with the turn signal indicator lights on the exterior rear view mirrors. I also just recently learned about the water leak problem for the hatchbacks...
@@717PROJECT Yes, but things like this, how you sow the slight fading happens if they are fairly good quality, but maybe not completely top level materials. But if they are not too expensive, it's a trade-off, and you can switch them out without too much expense. But that's the freedom of customization.
@@717PROJECT Factory OEM is nice, but the LED bulbs are a must if not stock and available. At least LEDs don't tend to overheat and melt plastic stuff like HD headlights. But it's cool you can personalize and customize your ride if you like. But some places are strict with headlights and taillights for safety inspections. I even had to remove clear license plate covers for inspections. On some cars, I might get the taillights done with the lightest smoke tint film available, like how some cars like sporty Buicks years ago had factory smoked taillights. The new Subaru Impreza RS is really nice and performs well with 180 HP. Only available in hatchback now. A consideration. But I will add to my list with the Camry SE, Civic Sport Hatchback if they fix the water leak problem, or the HR-V Sport. The Acura Integra Type S is awesome, but overkill and expensive. If I got something nice and more expensive, I would go with the Apex Blue Pearl Integra A-Spec Technology Package with the CVT. That's like a luxury Si with an automatic with the nice ELS stereo. The Type S is like a luxury Type R if you got the money, want the performance and more comfort instead of racing.

@@rodolfoflores1766 it sounds like it's a pretty close fit. Gaps might be a little bit smaller if I had to guess. Being the FL5 has wider fenders.

I have a PRL front strut bar and on Eibach sportline springs. Definitely helps with the body roll.

It has 20 different modes. Can be regular red if you want. But does solid other colors.

Yes, you need to use both cables. The on/off switches are for the animation..

You can run any mode while the car is moving. Recommend running red tho because I believe in most states any other color is illegal while driving.

Does the lights work very nice with the app, or the app wonky like some Other apps. Wanting to buy these soon but I need a opinion that’s not a bot.
I've had no issues with the app so far. Even when dragging the brightness there is very little to no lag. Pretty impressed with it actually.
