Strong and secure dance elements
I thought the acro was good but I think they need to clean up the technique on the ring jump, she doesn't hit the ring and split positions at the same time which FIG hates
Amazing! Keep at it
Wow
1:01 Okay...I now *_need_* to know what was going on during and after her third tumbling pass. What was that? It looks like he's telling her "good job" or something, then yells at the other coach.
Excellent floor for the senior ranks but she’s still a junior and needs to be scored as such. Giving her a 5.6 D-Score that won’t be credited internationally due to her junior status is setting her up for failure. I got a 5.3 with all elements credited: that’s with the E cap on acrobatic elements and without the dismount bonus that juniors do NOT receive according to the CoP. I could give her a 5.2 for that dubious switch-full that looks underrotated and could be credited as a switch-half.
I think the whole purpose of the scoring system is to help junior with difficulty smoothly transit to senior. There will be zero incentive to even attempt F-rated skills if domestic competitions put a E cap. Gymnasts like Suni Lee attempted even harder skills (e.g. Nabieva) in junior competitions and helped her build enough difficulty as new senior in 2019.
Do you know why juniors don't receive a dismount bonus? That is so random and illogical
@@Plaspos FIG wants to push for longevity in athletes and see less injuries in younger gymnasts. They have always discouraged juniors from pushing difficulty to the extreme. Although many athletes who pushed these boundaries have seen long healthy careers, many juniors don't even get the senior level.
@@Plaspos I don’t know why, but I agree that it’s illogical.
I understand why they do the E-cap but not why they don’t get the dismount bonus for D. Since when is a double tuck increasing the risk for injury more than a double twist?
