HERE WE GO!
April was a little cool outside, but Caffeine and Octane was as HOT as ever! Some of the fastest cars I have ever seen at this show. A 1978 Gold special limited edition TRAMS-AM. Sam, the original owner will tell you all about his car. Also see the street and race cars that FuelTech USA brought out. Including the very fast SS OPALA that is made in Brazil. Opala is a great classic in Brazil. The mixed style between European and American won the hearts of our people.
We had few V8 engines produced here, coming from Simca, Ford and Dodge. And after the oil crises, they left our market for good and the last survivor of the era of big engines (for the BR market) was the Opala and its 6cil. 250.
Many here think he deserved to have received a small block V8 from GM. Some even exchange the original engines for the 305 and 350, and, when it's a well-done adaptation, they say the car is a beast.

Hey dude. It lacked to show the VW SP2, that yellow car very low side by side with the Falcon. This one is a rare car that was only manufactured in Brazil. It is an air-cooled engine, based on the Beetle's engine.
