INSIDE SWISS TRAIN / Fahrt mit der S-Bahn Zürich (S11) von Dietikon zum Hauptbahnhof Zürich, Schweiz

01.12.2020 - So.... Pünktlich auf den ersten Dezember hat es auch bei uns im Flachland ein bisschen geschneit. Mehr Pflotsch als weisser Schnee liegt auf der Strasse. Trotzdem kommt doch ein Winterfeeling auf, wenn alles weiss verhüllt ist. Ich befinde mich in Dietikon im Kanton Zürich und habe Lust, wieder einmal mit der S-Bahn zu fahren. Ich nehme euch mit auf eine kleine Stadtrundreise. Beginnen wir mit der fahrt von Dietikon nach Zürich Hauptbahnhof. Ich nutzte dabei die S-11. Es handelt sich um ein Doppelstocktriebzug (Regio-Dosto, RABe 511) der 3. Generation. Am Perron warteten sehr viele Leute. Die Schweizer/innen fahre auch bei "aussergewöhnlicher Lage" sehr viel mit dem Zug. Natürlich tragen dabei 99% die Hygiene-Maske. Viel Spass

wow! Thanks for an extremely interesting video. The scene at 3m 30s is so typical of Switzerland. In Britain (where I live) if a school class goes on a journey the school hires a private bus or coach. In Switzerland the school party will use ordinary public transport for its excursion!

yes, Switzerland has excellent public transport. The children use it. There are many children who travel alone by train/Bus. I remember. When I was little, we also took the bus and train.
