      how do you study biology? i tried to do notes and read the chapters but it didn't work on me.This is a shame but it's true, i got 32 for bio on the latest exams.I had no clue how to study bio, please help me if you don't mind.Thankyou Yaaa

      Hii! For a subject like Bio, the main thing I did was to constantly do state paper questions WHILE REFERRING to either the textbook or the mark scheme. From that you get to slowly learn and recap on what you need to learn.
      This way, you also get to know what to study based on the questions instead of starting from Chapter 1 of form 4 - Chapter 13 of Form 5. If you feel uncertain about doing it this way, maybe you can look for a compilation of each chapter questions from state papers.
      If trials is near, for me, i dont think doing topical questions from workbooks work.

      @johnnndaniel  11 місяців тому +6

      Don't be discouraged by this mark. Just work on your questions that may carry a lot of marks. Start by scanning through last years trials papers and doing those. There no guarantee what will come out in your SPM or Trials but practice on questions. Look through your old papers that you have and do the corrections.
      For me, I only used the textbook to study. It worked best for me. Textbooks + Marking schemes.
      I hope this helps you :) @@syaffs9126

    do you regret taking science stream? im form 2 and i do not know what to pick in the future😭 im thinking abt taking account or science stream in the future. what do you suggest?

    • @johnnndaniel
      @johnnndaniel  Рік тому +4

      I do not regret choosing science stream. But If I could give you my thoughts about it is that, don't choose to go into science stream for the status. Being in the science stream DOES NOT mean you are smarter than others. If you really wanna do accounting in the future and know for sure you dont wanna do anything science related, then being in an accounting stream shouldn't be a problem. Don't be in the science stream just because people think it's for smart people. If you are unsure of what you want to do in the future, then being in the science stream will give you more options as you can always do an arts course after your schooling days.

    hii john, i follow you on instagram and i wanted to message you there, but i feel like i'd grasp your attention better here. what topics did you skip for addmaths? and most importantly how did you manage your time during the actual spm month. did you feel anxious when entering the examination hall? jesus im so scared for my spm lmaoo

    • @johnnndaniel
      @johnnndaniel  Рік тому +1

      Helloooo! Haha so I “skipped “ chapter 4 and chapter 6 of form 5. Chapter 4 is permutation and combination and chapter 6 is trigonometry. As for how I felt during the exam month, nearer the date i really prepared myself. Ever since I was young SPM used to be my biggest fear. I always wanted to do well and I never understood how people do it. But as you progress during your form 5, you sort of get used to it. So nearer SPM it will be scary ofc, but it wasn’t as bad for me.
      As for how I managed my time, I made sure I get work/questions done before I move on to do anything fun. I had to sacrifice a few family gatherings and deepavali/cny celebrations to study. If you start a state paper, make sure you finish it on the day itself.
