One passing of natural causes, 2 chose to cut me out of their lives like poison, the 2 last ones were collateral following the 2 ahead. When ANGELina released the lyrics video of this, I had just had the shock of loosing the 5th. 1 week before Xmas, my beautiful cat walked out and never came back, most likely taken by fox or eagles... :'( But this song is PURE HEALING. I just had to go through the funeral experience for one of my friends who passed away from COVID at the age of 28. Definitely not easy man.
I am so sorry for this loss but like you said "In my dreams"..... There they are, in your heart, soul and mind, forever. It isn't the same but they aren't fully gone either. Just remember their spirit and they could still be a voice in your life. They were in your life for a purpose and they will always be there to complete their purpose and help you with yours.

My condolances Ellis. I lost my own father nearly two years ago, and then when Angelina let this out, it instantly became my go-to song for lost loved ones. I can see it having the same effect on my kids as well, both have only just learned enough english to understand the lyrics, but their tears were very real. It's like another commenter said, those tears needed to be shed. You were very brave to share it, I'm not sure if I ever could.
