Doing one hell of a job winging it , on all my trips i was too busy or two knackered to film or photograph much of any thing , you set up shots climb then come back for the camera phenominal effort to make these superb videos for us to enjoy , got to say your a natural at this youtube lark and i hope your channel goes from strength to strength to reward all that effort .
Thanks mate, winging it is exactly what I do 😅 making it up as I go along whilst learning and enjoying it as I go.. and yeah takes a fair bit of effort with the filming, walking back and forth so its nice to get some appreciation for it mate thank you 👍🏼👍🏼
Tbh . I'm rather annoyed you don't get more views. Proper down to earth fella who talks like a real person who drops the swear word 👏 love it. Keep it up mate .I've been watching you a for over a year now
You popped up in my feed 4 days ago and you’re the first channel binged out on, Liam. A fellow northerner myself, I appreciate all the accent nuances and the “realness” of your videos. Thanks for taking us with you, ar kid.
Binging on your channel and finding it fantastic. Thanks Liam, it's been a long time since I hiked in the lakes and your videos are bringing back memories (even in the clag). Your videos and editing are very professional, can't wait for new vlogs. Keep safe, David.
Loving your channel Liam. Catching up on old stuff and installed Adobe Premier Pro again so this Old Bloke Outdoors might have some newer content soon. Doug. Glasgow. 🇬🇧🏴
I was trying add up how many times clag was said, I lost count 😆. But It was definitely claggy lol. 6 Wainwright's and 21 miles, a great effort matey and nice to see your cloud peak getting used again 👍. 2 weeks today and it'll be the shortest day of the year, so thankfully we'll start to get longer days and less time spent couped up in our tents....👏. Enjoy your day and see you on your next adventure ✌️ 🤟
A great hike and camp, and i see that you're getting the bug that we all get for the gear. 👌😉 We know that it takes a while to get experienced and confidence going, because we hike places that a year ago we would've avoided. We are in our early 70s so we're very happy with what we have acheived in 18 months of hiking to date. I love a challenge. ☺️
Oh yes i’ve certainly caught the bug when it comes to buying new gear , thats amazing i will be truly blessed if i’m still out and about on the fells in my 70’s ! That really is brilliant ☺️ thank you for the comment
@Good Bloke Outdoors you're welcome. You will. I hike with painful arthritic knees and hands, but poles help. Use it or lose it, but don't abuse it is our motto. 👌 my photo is me now.
When you said you were going to check the weather to decide if you were camping up top or down by the Tarn, I knew (you being a glutton for punishment) you would go up top, I was dead chuffed with myself when you started climbing, I kept saying to myself, I knew it, I knew he would, and as if you'd not done enough ascending/descending for one day you came back down again, fair play to ya mate, old Alfred would be proud of ya, personally I think I would have stopped at the bottom first time (creaky knees) and done the last wainwright in the morning. Love the channel, entertaining as usual, keep on trekking, ♠
Thinking back this was probably 1 of my hardest hikes to be honest, well underestimated the hike with the camping gear… I remember being in some right pain the following day at work 🤣 thanks for watching mate.
Great video. I bivi camped on Seat Sandal in September took the same route up as you. You made a wise choice to drop down, Seat Sandal is rocky as feck, nightmare to get pegs in though you do get great signal 🤣.
Thanks mate , yeah original plan was to camp up on Seat Sandal but was struggling to see far enough to find a nice spot and the wind was coming in, and with no views because of the clag it made sense to drop down to the tarn. 0 signal for me near the tarn tho 😅 Thanks for the comment mate
Nice video mate, not great with clag but it's all about getting out! How you finding the sleeping bag? I've just bought one gonna test it out in the lakes at the weekend up on Barf. May catch you bagging some Wainwrights some time! ATB, Lisa
yeah just gotta crack on whatever the weather 👍🏼 and loving the sleeping bag so far, only used it a couple times so we’l see how it goes when the really cold weather arrives. Looking forward to doing some snowy camps so that should give all my gear a good test ❄️☺️ thank you for the comment and yeah be good to see some of my subscribers up in the fells !! 👍🏼
Nice one mate 👍👍 really enjoy your videos 😊 would like to ask how long it takes you to put the video together ready to put on here, your videos are longer than most. Cheers for your efforts bud, stay safe and keep doing your thing 👍👍🙏🙏🙏
Thanks mate , depends really sometimes I do an hour or so here and there, sometimes i’ll just smash through a good 4 or 5 hours of editing and get it all done. Sometimes longer if i film off different things like Go Pro / iPhone / Drone etc., to get all the clips together.
Great videos mate and your sense of humor as well - I am from Yorkshire as well but been living and working in Asia for 20 years so i miss our humor - anyway mate keep up the good work and thanks once again !
Thanks for watching everyone !

I've never wanted a UA-camr to succeed as much as I do for Liam. and it looks like those subs are heading in the right direction.
Ah Mark what a comment mate, really appreciate the support man 😎
