I just want to add of all the stations I worked at in LA … This was the most fun I ever had .., The Programming was just right… The Music was just Right, We had the BEST Jingle Package … I was just proud to be a part of it all… WHAT HAPPENED ???
What a novel concept! A live and local radio program on a Sunday night on a terrestrial radio station! I thought that went out with the Ford Edsel and the butter churn! 😁
Would have been doubly live and local in 1985. KIIS FM and KIIS AM simulcast daytimes and then had same music logs but with different jocks in the evenings to keep FCC off their case. Only allowed AM and FM to fully simulcast in 88.
@@pauleaves469 yes, here on the east coast I got to hear a couple of AM CHR “shadowcasts” also. WPXY in Rochester, NY and WROQ in Charlotte, NC come to mind. Back around 1985 also…
Great jingle set and music set. IMO, the best music 80s was playing in the late summer '85. Thanks for putting it up!
Love this! Really cool hearing all those songs from 85 that was in movies.
What a great time for music and radio. Miss those days. It’s sad and hard to stomach to see what radio has become.
Smooth and lively adultish Top 40.

Sadly, times change.
