Thanks! I’m honestly not sure about the intro music. I think it was something that was packaged within the video editing software I was using at the time.
My friend is working on making them available, but I don't think they'll be available by June. There are some challenges getting some parts made that in the end will make it much easier to produce. Right now, it's quite time consuming for him to make.
Does this model have its original EDF? I have the 80MM Free wing A-10 9 blade in mine and it just doesn't go like this one...awesome video/flight/paint work!
Yeah, this is the stock setup the airplane comes with. Did you calibrate your speed controller? The freewing ESCs usually need to be calibrated to ensure max throttle range.
@@Thercgeek I did calibrate it per the manual. Mine seems fast but the take off is long and the climb out is spooky. I Have to keep the nose down and wait before any aggressive bank angles. It's way less than a scale departure!
@@Thercgeek I did not try anything like that. CG is good. But my takeoff. Is nothing like the one in your awesome video. I am going to order the metal 12 blade and use the motor from the 9 blade. I may need another adapter to move your Afterburner Light I have installed! Look at my vids for a I love your light shout out!!
Based on what I know about the two, the Mig way out performs the Sabre. The sabre flies well, but doesn't have near the performance of the Mig (my friend had one).
Which would actually reflect the performance difference between the real F86 and the Mig21. Now an F86 against a Mig 15 or 17 would be a different matter. I would expect similarly sized models, with scale performance matched power plants to be far more realistic. Of course there are lots of aerodynamic reasons why that doesn't happen.
So, the afterburner setup is something my friend Air-Jon designed. He intends on selling a few. Basically, he designed a replacement tailcone for the motor that has a bunch of LED's in it. So, when the LED's are on, they glow from the center of the duct as opposed to around the perimeter like you get with the traditional AB rings. I have one that I'll be installing into the Kfir kit bash I'm finishing up.
Mig 21. My favorite jet of all time.
nice!
Awesome flying!
Nice! That thing maneuvers on a dime! Great work with the afterburner. Looks very convincing.
yeah, these Migs are pretty cool models. They don't really stall either, so they end up having a huge speed envelope.
I liked that takeoff with the roll, unbelieveable camara work at tracking the plane.
Thank you!
UUUUh, that is perfect looking Mig-21, nice flying too.
Nice Plane + Great Pilot + Good Camera Work = Beautiful Video!
Thank you!
Sweet Mig.. Good flying to do a roll on take-off.. I like that after-burner light.. Looks so scale-like..
Beautiful flight.
Very nice flying.
Nice. The Mig 21 is a cool air frame. Looks really intimidating. Thanks for posting.
thanks for watching!
Do you know what colors he's using for the tan and green?
Unfortunately, I don’t know what colors he used. I’ll ask him to see if he remembers.
OOOH that afterburner looks GOOD!
yeah, it's really convincing!
Ncie demo. You were not kidding about the power.
yeah, it has tons of power!
nice work Rodger! Great video as always Chris!
sweet camo! i will get this Mig this summer!
That thing has some punch!
Is he using a gyro with this one?
No, I don’t believe so.
oooh...very nice..nice paint paint job.
Thanks for watching!
How much is the afterburner kit complete please ?
The complete system is $85 and is available at thercgeek.com/the-centerburner
The RC Geek have to get one for a mig 21 in the works nice work man
Thanks! Have fun with the Mig, they fly awesome!
What intro music is that? Love it. Love the livery to. Just bought the MiG 21 in the blue and gray.
Thanks! I’m honestly not sure about the intro music. I think it was something that was packaged within the video editing software I was using at the time.
Nice
Do you have a gyro installed?
There's no gyro installed in this one.
Just great smooth flying!!! Awesome dude.
Very impressive Fly... good job.. thanks for video
thanks for watching!
Hey i love the center burner!! Any chance they are available? I'm attending an event in June and would like to have one of those in my mig.

Ok sounds great, thanks for the reply!
Hi, any updates on the center burner light your friend is working on?
HI Thomas, You can now buy these CenterBurners on The RC Geek webstore
Would you have a video of painting that MIG-21....very nice job!
Unfortunately, I do not. My friend painted this one up. It's the same concept though that I showed in my painting camouflage video.

Could the airplane be out of balance? What happens if you pull more aggressive up elevator? Does it pitch up quickly?

Cool man, just let me know what you need.
Looks absolutely amazing, I was the one talking to you about doing a mini f 14 or f 15 on instagram 😁
Hi, great sound and flying! Stock 12-blade metal edf?
Yes, this is the original power system that the model came with.
I would love to see a side by side, and flight characteristic comparison between the 80mm f-86 and the Mig!

Very nice energy flying, but it will be very interesting to try spin with it. Of course in height!
That would be interesting!
Splende aircraft and excellent afterburner... I need one for my freewing F5 ... do you have designed one for the F5? ... Cheers from France...
Yeah, my 80mm outrunner design should fit the 12blade freewing fan. I think that’s the same as what in this mig.
saw this plane the other day on the mig 21 forum rcgroups. Absolutely gorgeous jet, whats the specs on the afterburner. best ive seen yet

nice field! where is it?
