- On Friday, December 11th, Mayor Bob Buckhorn joined Interfaith community leaders as well as members of the Muslim community at the Islamic Society of Tampa Bay Area to condemn extreme and divisive anti-Muslim rhetoric and support Tampa's large Muslim community.
