There's something very wrong with your VHS cam's frame rate. Some of those camera recorded at 30 fps. It maybe something you're doing when converting it. Anyways, this is pretty creative! Great video!
Great video, glad to see the retro VHS camera has became cool again in recent years! In some of the videos I noticed what looked like moving vertical lines (particularly in the car burnout and bike riding) I initially thought they were added in in post production but I remembered I had moving vertical squiggly lines happening in one of my Sony Betamax machines years ago, turned out the video heads are worn out. Anyhow you've certainly brought back the 90s vibe in making videos, I was a teen in the 90s but wasn't rich enough to own a camcorder but in the early 2000s was given some really old early 1980s video cameras that connect to a separate portable VHS VCR in which I had as well, I have made many videos from them here's one from 2004 of me filming an old shipwreck using a 1983 Hitachi VCK-850 connected to a National/Panasonic NV-180 portable VHS ua-cam.com/video/ONlUUzmVVCY/v-deo.html . I have loads of old camera vids on my channel.
