06:55 why are both the chain locker covers popped open? If I was the helm that would drive me mad, I’d have to slow down and close them. Ahhh a minute further on and they appear to have shut automatically - the delights of editing 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I should point out that prices start for this model at around €650,000 inc VAT but the one in the video had all the toys fitted like the folding terraces, platform, more powerful engines etc
This high end sector of the day boat sector has expanded quite rapidly in the last four years Fjord, Serena, Pardo, Gulf Craft, Princess Cranchi and Fairline, and as seen here, Solaris.
Obviously you know nothing about sirena series phenomenal yachts immense technology doors heavier than normal house doors very elite craftsman and quality
Hi Hugo. That's a great boat. I remember your tour on the Solaris 48 lobster coupe at a show. Such a beautiful yacht, sweeping lines and a fantastic paint job. Great video and test. Thanks 😊
No water comune in? In Venice we use to have absolutely dry Boats named “cacciapesca”. At a length of 14’ and 15” high sidewalls it’s a much better result!
They got so many things right. Love the style, the colours, the finishing. But if I were a mechanic trying to access the engines I'd struggle. Unless there is a way to remove the entire deck section?
I do like the Solaris Power "Fly" it's a strikingly beautiful boat, large safe walkaround decks, low roll so reducing or eliminating the need for gyro, gorgeous sports bridge, stunning interior. However, I have to say your tour of it at a boat show, Hugo, wasn't impressive. It seemed you were complaining that, basically, it wasn't a Princess type yacht when, in fairness, it wasn't even trying to be. I thought it was just me, but the other comments seemed to pick up on it. Glad you "got" this open version of it though. Perhaps you need a bit of sunshine, fresh air, and slim Mediterranean women eyeing your direction to really "get" what makes a Solaris Power so special. They're not trying to be a nice practical 2020 Vauxhall Astra Estate, they're trying to have the feel of a 1954 Maserati A6 GTS and I think they manage it, far more so than any other production yacht I've ever seen.
Can I see the engines? Yes they are here…. Waits for the the thank you……. Still waiting. Politeness costs nothing especially when you are dealing with crew or staff.
Lots of competition, De Antonio, Pardo, Evo, Wally, Cranchi... all fighting for a part of the cake of this new luxury 30 to 45 ft chase boat segment.... this is not a dayboat... for this price you have a real boat with 3 real cabins and a flybridge... just a new toy for the rich boy.... but I like it... just like I love a useless Ferrari....
Even if I had the cash...it's a no. Engine space..nil points...launch life raft if electrical system down?...nope....nice paint job though....show up every salt crystal.
Too expensive, fender lines rub on the paint , too much flash and not enough practicality, folding sides , another gimmick to go wrong , and optional ? For the money. Someone is getting screwed !!
Well done Hugo, nice tender/day boat. Italian style with these is IMHO incomparible. Thankyou
Thanks. It is a thing of beauty

Good spot! The anchor locker lids did pop open over one particularly big wave. It was just a case of tightening up the latch to fix it.
Now this is stunning as a weekend fun machine. Agree very very beautiful

@@omerturk3943 I mistakenly said Sirena when I actually meant to write Oryx, the perils of late night typing.

I thought it was absolutely stunning too but I also thinks it’s right to point out where the compromise are
Hi Hugo, Nice video. I have t say for Euro1m I do not see this for this money.

Love the Ferrari analogy - I’m an AMG man myself (just a touch more practical) 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😎
Lekker man lekker
Solaris already has a 48, I don't understand coming out with a 44 as well.
Très beau combien il coûte ?👍❤️🎩
Starting price: €1.09 million (inc. VAT) info in the description.
Great review.. but £1m?
Thanks, it’s a lot of money but it’s a very classy bit of kit

1 million for a 'day boat'.......😂

By a sailboat, tour the world, have the adventure of a lifetime and create a thousand memories. Leave the overpriced plastic power boats to the fools.
