So, I had more time to think about a stand-alone sink unit. More time to build too. This unit is nice but bigger, heavier and more complicated than the sink I built for Teresa. But if she wants this one instead, I will give it to her. This setup is great for people who need to quickly convert their SUV or van for the weekend camping trip. Then convert it back to a daily driver.

I like to build personal campers from ordinary cars. My videos try to help you build your own. I don't build for others, but my videos have a walk through steps that I took for my diy builds. Maybe you are interested in a nomadic vanlife and can't afford a nice sprinter van? Homeless and want to live in a van? I try to keep the cost of all my camper builds low but functional. I re use things I can get for free or really cheap from offerup or craigslist. Your camper car build can be functional without costing a fortune.

Use a small tension rod on the inside; then hang a small curtain or some tea towels to hide the water jugs/ drain bucket. Easy access, simple and pretty to look at! ❤

i love the SMALL water bottles. carrying your empty to dump into an available toilet should be easy (and easy to be stealth). many systems don't consider the weight of FIVE gallons of water. if you make it EASY (as YOU have); you can carry it in a small pouch/bag and empty it EVERY time you are near facilities. you REALLY combined artistic carpentry, engineering, KINDNESS and a GREAT and instructive vid.

Very cool, I have one suggestion ,on the fold out table, drill out some indentations for the legs on the stove to fit into so the stove doesn't slide around on accident or while you're cooking on it. I'm doing a cargo trailer conversion and you gave me some good ideas, thanks.😊

Outstanding video once again. The sink cabinet is quite nice looking and extremely functional, plus, I loved the MacGyver solution to keeping the faucet stabilized. One note, as an older person myself (65+) with hand/grip issues, I’d have trouble taking the lid off the bucket to check the water level. I think instead I would use a gallon water cube with low profile and a wide footprint, yet is semi-clear so the level can be quickly viewed. But then again, like you, I use what I have first and see if it works before I go buy anything.
I am doing a no build on my sienna van with many of your ideas, so, thank you! You are my favorite UA-cam minivan camper builder. Keep up the good work.

An idea to cover the front of the cabinet is to install a thin metal towel bar. You can hang a cool towel for drying dishes etc or just to cover the opening. Probably come in quite handy just in case of spillages 😊👍. It looksvry cute. I love love love the drain cover. I've never seen acovr like that. Awesome ❤

Nice project. Your stove morphed from a Coleman to a Gas One. The Coleman wouldn't fit with the slide stop, I'm guessing? That faucet mounting is jenky as hell. That can't be how it's supposed to mount. We've all had speed bumps like these in projects. It's best to talk about them as they pop up. Each new project is a learning experience. YT creators earn big point for showing their issues. Nothing ever goes smooth like Bob Vila on TV. I'm sure they edit the crap out his stuff too. Haha!
Anyway, this should serve you well. I would recommend adding a couple more pocket screws on the water jug shelf at least, and adding glue or some PL Premium on those joints for durability. Bouncing around in a camper can loosen things up in a short time. I have lots of tools for joinery, but pocket screws are a game changer for little projects like this little utility cabinet. You can really do a lot with very little investment in tools. Nice work.

Your ideas are fun to watch! The oil pan sink is a really creative re-use; however, I really love this elegant sink and cabinet with the flip up workspace; have been waiting for such an idea to spark the continued layout planning on my leveled floor minivan for all its needs. The 1-3 gallon jugs are quite portable (vs. 5). For myself, I'd like an adapter to a grey container after building such a nice enclosure. Link for those corner clamps?

Great job on the build! I'd love to have that stainless sink system in my overland rig, but when i finish the drawer system for the slide-out kitchen, I'll probably need a collapsible sink. I've looked at thise faucets, so wonder how hard it would be to make a base to slide it onto once the drawer is pulled out. Great build. What are the dimensions, height/width and length? Looks like a perfect fit for a mini van. Hmm. I can picture it in mine. 😂 you were concerned about weight … how much do you think it weighs? Could have probably gotten away with a much thinner plywood but it was a great deal on all the wood. Price of wood is crazy these days I just went looking for a small remnant to make a portable craft ironing platform and it was priced at 30. For that I could buy a full size ironing board.
