Ep #165 with Jim Matus and Richie Barshay - World Fusion duo. Jim Matus plays the laoutar - an electric Greek Laouto which is tuned like a mandocello. He has a unique sound on the instrument. Richie Barshay is a multi-percussionist playing tabla, frame drum and other assorted percussion on this episode. This is a live session recorded at BCTV, one of the first we have done in a long time. We recorded 4 videos of live improvisational music which are featured on this episode.
