It can be hard to juggle so many characters, when you have to do up 9 of them. So limiting them allows for a more focused idea of each character and what points that are arguing for each side or allowing for multiple opinions for a debate.
I gave Better Call Saul a try thanks to the fact that both shows came from New Mexico which is next to Arizona. He’s been on a lot of cases before making great solutions.
