i add the sim card and nothing happens
Your sim may need to be locked with a pin on it. You can research how to put a pin on your sim through whatever device you own, but you NEED your *PUK* code to do so in the first place. Do not try to lock your sim without your PUK code or else you will lock the sim for good. The PUK code is on the little card that your sim card came attached to. If you can't find that, then you must contact your service provider for the PUK code... good luck :)
