He hired a voice coach. He & Louis both hired her to be better than before. There are those who might ride on the coat-tails of "good enough," right, because they already had our attention as fans of some already stellar stuff in 1D days. I mean they weren't novices coming out of those years, right. But even so, and I think this is what sets these boys apart from other solo acts coming from a group: they didn't need to become better, and yet, they hired one of the best coaches to be their individual best! To me, that comes from a place of humility, still yet, after all their previous successes, to hire someone to be better. Dedication. It shows, the difference. Incredible.

But I also don’t agree with these people who are obsessed like oh he’s the one that got away they are our parents etc, because they’re real people. It seems that this line is in response to "Wildest Dreams", which means that the song was written after the release of "1989" at the very least. In addition, BBMAs Harry's reaction to seeing Taylor and Calvin on stage, and Taylor's mention of "dickhead guy" in "Question...?", it's basically sure that this "Him" is Calvin, and Harry has written a song about Calvin, haha.

Also, nearly all of her songs about Harry were about him leaving her all the time, and not making time for their relationship. So there's "The one who stays and the one who’s leaving". Making it clear that it's for her. He has written many song about how he is dealing with her acually moving in from them, and he doesn't seem to like it. This one is just very blunt because he speaks to her with her lyrics from songs on an album she wrote "basically" wrote about him.
@Andrew Murray I agree. I have 3 girls. So I try and stay involved what they are involved in. If they go down rabbit holes I go with them, to make sure they dont get lost. I try and keep them focused on the fun of it, but show them it's other people's personal lives, so don't obsesse over it. So when they started showing me a couple songs from Tayolor and Harry they thought were about eachother, I realized they spoke to eachother in songs. Used the same lines in different ways to speak to eachother. Both of them leave easter eggs. It's acually kinda fun to look into creatively. I would have to go back and listen to the songs your talking about because I listened to so many, I forgot many of the titles. I just think that they had an relationship, on and off, for much longer than we are aware of. That does not shock me consideringthey are both so high profile. Or at least, they used what they experienced together in a creative manner, almost together, although they were apart. I watched several interviews, where he states he is honored to be someone that was in her life, that he inspires her to write songs about. In my opinion they have a mutual respect for eachother, and use what they had to write music, and leave eachother notes in the songs, if that makes any sense. It's acually really beautiful from a creative aspect. Who knows, they could have decided together to do this year's ago, or it's something they just do. But if you go back and listen to his music and hers, you will see, or you may have already. This song, and another before it, seems to be him thinking she is acually moving on from him completely, perhaps forgetting, or just creatively moving on from writing about him and it bothers him. They were a very cool musical couple in my opinion, because they use eachother to inspire eachother instead of focusing on perhaps some of the negative parts of what they had together, or tearing eachother down. It was cool digging in with my girls and exploring this. Two of them are writers so it gave them a new perspective on how to write. Very talented artists in my opinion. Glad they crossed paths. Taylor's new song Karma, is a great way to look at Karma. It sheds a possitive light on it. It's how I always looked at it. Her current boyfriend seems to insire her in new ways creatively, that's a really cool thing to watch unfold as well. Sorry for the lengthy response lol.

It was in 2018, I didn't even know who he was back then and didn't bother to check. I was just obsessed with this incredible timeless ballad sang by an unknown (to me) singer. I couldn't pinpoint when the song was created (and again - I didn't bother to check), yet I added it to my Spotify playlist called "The greatest classic rock ballads of all time". It's currently the youngest song on the playlist and one of very few written in this century. And I believe that I actually googled Harry Styles for the first time like a year later :D
Just imagine, this is how we would've known about Harry and his art if he was just a random rockie artist on youtube, if he wasn't in the band or x fac at all. We would've gotten these raw, pure tracks through music like this at it's time (I only mean the few recently leaked old demos).
