Got this camera to use as a 2nd angle cam for my live streams. Works very well for that. Wish it shot longer at 4k but otherwise I don't get the hate on this camera for the current price. The same sensor is in much more expensive cameras and if you can work past the Interface and get a better lens it can be a beast.
The Awakened Soul well said. I think the main thing for allot of persons is that it’s not a big name/hitter however that does not mean it can’t be good they aren’t willing to take the time to get to understand it and see what works best with it. Most of the reviews I have watched were done with the kit lens but even so I get what I want from the kit lens as well. As you said for the price and with that Sony sensor it’s worth it.
Dankbo Saggins it doesn’t have that, I just gotta ensure my angles are right before shooting. As for when I used it to vlog I only assumed I was in the frame and assumed I was out of focus 🤣😂
Dankbo Saggins 🤣😂 I fell in love with it then realised it wasn’t the best option for what I wanted but due to a mixup with a friend it was ordered. I’m making the most of it.
This is a great camera. I prefer to use vintage lenses on it though. Right now my favorite is the minolta md rokkor 50mm f1.7. It's very cheap and it looks amazing.
BioVirulent I can certainly attest to that. I have a vintage Sigma 28-70mm that I’ve used a few times and get some beautiful coloured glares. I’m getting more as well. I do not plan to give up on this camera.
Really this is my first time hearing about it but totally forgot I think I did hear about it once what kind of stuff are you getting with the Minolta lenses straight out of camera have you tried any Olympus or m42 Pentax
@@unbroken1010 I haven't tried any m42 or olympus or pentax but the images with the minolta turn out very well. I have a 135mm f2.8 and a macro zoom minolta and they all look very nice.
Nice and well assembled/arranged video :-) And, yes, I agree that the M1 can take some mind blowing and damn sharp pictures, even with kit lenses (personal experience of course). Hope you can make some test video on 4K capabilities and performance as well :-) P.S. Your voice over is only on the left channel ....
Dipto Das thanks for watching. I’ve never actually tried that before, I’ll look into it but based on the many limitations and no port to output it might not be possible.

Hol' up, I thought this camera doesn't even have live HDMI out? It can't do live streams, can it? I have this camera.

@@ocimaging alright, just making sure me and all my research I did (obviously after I bought the camera) were right

Nice video. I enjoy using this camera and just got a Meike 28mm 2.8 lens for it. Makes the whole thing very pocketable.
Yeah it's a capable little camera. I've however sold mine though.
Where to buy
Yash Raj this camera can be purchased on Amazon.
Right now I need a vlog camera

Nice tip bro. Please can you show me how to set this yi camera for log photages?
Extremely late with my reply but to answer, the Yi camera does not have a log profile. I have since sold this camera.
Thank you bro 👍💯💯

Ale Andrade I wish I could advise you on this but I do not even use the app.
interesting the photo quality okay, 4k ummm but it okay. overall good review.
JCL Lifestyle thanks. Yeah it’s an okay camera, I can’t beat it up for its flaws.
Trying to get a cannon sx730 🙏🙏
THE 5 R BEATS ooohhh, watched reviews on it already?
I don't know man I get better pictures out of a Nikon 1 or Pentax Q
Those are good options as well. Photography is subjective so it's up to what the user prefers.
