Once they have their health regen upgrade the paladins are amazing tanks and even before that they're good. I usually leave them just on the second and third upgrade though because in this game upgrading the DPS towers is a lot more important, too many flying enemies that move fast
Grim Wraiths are insanely powerful. But they shine only when fully upgraded. And here comes the question if they're really worth it in a game which laughs at barracks with all the range/unblockables enemies?
in full honesty , there are enough things to justify them not as like , a main tower , but having one per exit later on in the stage is worth due to the fact that the game still every now and then sends enough normal enemies for barracks to be helpful they aren't required sure , but that last bit of powerful security is pretty good later on in the levels , their death explosion upgrade is good enough to justify it by itself , their great damage (+ that damage upgrade after 5 seconds of fighting) is just a huge plus on top of that ALSO they are slightly better against ranged enemies than most barracks because at least they have the death explosion that can still hit things even if they die
@@alechandro89 I would put the brewers to be honest. With how strong the eldrich guys are, you do not need paladins or wraiths to begin with, so a other ranged option is a great idea. It also comes with a free gym license Asterix 😂
To be honest, I was hoping there'd be a lot more selection of towers to choose from. Perhaps in a later update we could get new towers and heroes. I was hoping for the musketeers to make a return.

@@kindatim actually , iirc , someone tested that with Mods and with infinite range range iirc they were fine enough (he also gave the a slight damage boost at first but that got nerfed real fast as they were actually really dang strong with like +1 damage per attack for some reason-)
I don't think so.They both have their own unique traits and neither are a placeholder for the other so choose one or both(it works too) depending on your strategy.Archers are cheaper and has a little more range but also could deal huge amounts of damage with armor piercing shots and if you place them in an active spot, their eagle(or falcon idk which one) could maximize it's dps meanwhile ballista has less damage output but it can deal with crowds and also can stun a target for 2 secs.Both are really good options.This could be the most balanced Kingdom Rush game ever.The "Best" tower could be trash if it isn't a good pick for your strategy and the "Worst" tower could do miracles if it fits your strategy

Ballista is more like a cleanup tower(especially high threat enemies due to their permastun)after thinning out the numbers. Still I dont like Archer abilities, the eagle is so weak and not worth taking, this tower is probably the weakest among all games. I understand they want to make it thematically fitting.

@@rency1803yes-level 1 emissary curses enemies to take 20% more damage while level 4 makes them take 50% more damage Also their roots special ability is pretty decent

@@Linderman3000ты уже полностью проиграл с такими "аргументами", просто попробуй эту башню в связке с паладинами и башнями с большим кол-урона, на пример тех же магов (фиолетовый и красный), это имба башня поддержки, просто поверь мне бро ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I wonder if the status effect scale with level, if it's not then it's better off as a level 1 cheap support since the upgrades are very underwhelming.
