I'm not done with the video but there's a VERY LOUD and painful audio glitch at about 4:32, would you be able to fix that please? it really hurts my ears and I wouldn't want anyone else to have to experience that :( EDIT: another sound like that at about 22:24
Europeans often forget how big Canada actually is and how far apart places can be. To see Polar bears near Hudson’s Bay in Manitoba and then have lunch in Vancouve, BC is a 9-hour direct flight, nevermind Mexico. Jotting down to Mexico (crossing Canada and the USA) would take 48 hours nonstop driving - I’m not sure on the flight, but you wouldn’t fly for tea and fly (another 8-12 hours) back to England to work the next day. Spoiler - Eastern Canada is the Home of the Canadian Shield in case you missed those days of grade 5 and grade 10 Social Studies. The Canadian Shield is ancient Pre-Cambrian igneous rock - like a crap ton of it. What used to be a mountain range has been scoured and compressed down to bare bedrock hills and smooth flats. It’s horrible for farming due to very little topsoil, it’s hard to build massive cities on because you can’t dig into it for support. What it IS good for is MINING! Deep underground passages through solid stone. This shield does extend into the USA… I’ll leave it at that 🤔 ( also - technically there are more Polar bears in the USA than Canada 😂😂 That’s why it’s so hilarious to describe Canada as a land of igloos and Polar Bears. It’s a little like describing the entire USA by Alaska’s climate and animals.)
Love your recent picks! Great reading thanks!
I’m a lurk but I’ve been enjoying your videos
