I play Dairy Cow which adds Milk Farmer to my hand. When I play Milk Farmer they milk Dairy Cow 3 times in the chese testing phase. But wait, there's more! I activate my field spell Milking Factory that summons Mad Bull in attack mode when I have a Dairy Cow and a Farmer creature.
Any cars that would enter the hand or deck of a player other than its owner is instead exiled. That was added to comprehensive rules 6 years ago. Can you work out which six card combination needed that fix? Nowadays it only takes two.
Yugioh, MtG, Pokemon, Digimon and more in the video and UA-cam tops it off with claiming it is a Hearthstone video. Truly a mind-melting crossover of card games!
I understand the sentiment, but Chiss-Goria is a Phyrexia One commander card that exiles 5 cards and lets you play an artifact from them. Not only do you get nothing if you whiff, but the cards stay exiled. I'm not even going "aha, how about this obscure case!", it's the commander of my actual deck.
If trying to be close to how it works, then the Vanguard card (the 10,000 power one) should be treated as a 10,000/10,000 with the continuous effect that it deals only 1 damage to a player if it hits them. The critical symbol (the 1 with the ninja star looking icon) is how much damage it does to players.
This video was glorious! Fun idea and overall excellent content. One little thing, though: 18:35 actually only the Maelstrom Wanderer is on the stack. Because of the way Cascade works, the Wanderer puts two instances of it on the stack. The last instance of Cascade resolves first and finds the Guilmon. Now the player gets an option to cast it, and, if they do, this is the last spell to be pushed on the stack. Before the first (second to resolve) instance of Cascade gets a chance to resolve, the spell casted from the last Cascade trigger has to leave the stack. This means that Guilmon is already on the battlefield when Clean Clean is found off of the resolving Cascade instance, and is for this reason a valid target! The Wanderer, instead, is still on the stack and will resolve as third and last spell of this convoluted interaction. This may be a very important sequence to keep in mind for those Wanderer or Zhulodok Commander players out there!
This reminds me of a really old school way to play, that me and my friends used to do… kangaroo court. It was essentially just, whatever the art on the card was, make up some ability to go with it. Example: it’s a 10/10, yes of course it has reach it’s huge. Anything underwater art had islandwalk, if it looked dead it could come back once from the graveyard, etc
Hahahaha, I had the pleasure of playing this madness in Barcelona last summer. Also I am the reason of the banning of leveler and demonic consultation when using a joker card (yeah, I'm a nasty cedh player)
This felt like playing with that kid who is inventinf its own rules during the game in order to make sure they will win 😅😅 And even more when Vince actually did win 🤣
this is gonna slap. I will return back in half an hour to report. edit: never in my wildest dreams could i have imagined a match that slapped harder. please ban ricky martin.
I am so pleased to see that MTG people on this world play similar formats to our year old playgroup. Story time: back when commander was not a thing our playgroup wanted to play multiplayer games with no clear edge for anyone because of too powerful decks. That was the time we were introduce to the format "Stapel". It is one big tower of cards neatly curated for a multiplayer game where everyone shares a graveyard and draws cards from the same deck/tower/Stapel. Each card can be a land and taps for the mana of its colors. You can only attack the players to your right or left and last person standing wins. To this day the Stapel has more than 10.000 cards, we spent more than 1000€ just on sleeves alone and it decks a whole day to shuffle everything up. But it's a blast to just arrive at the kitchen table of your friends and jump right into a game of Stapel!
This reminds me of a thing that my cousins and I tried to do when I was, a kid. We had, just, a bunch of random tcg cards (mostly magic, YGO, and a few other bits and pieces from random other games), and not enough to make decks with anything, so we tried to figure out a way to play them all together. The chaos is wonderfully nostalgic. :)
i just rewatched this video for the fifth time and just want to continue pretending that this is an actual casual format many people would play at their local game stores 😂
Checkout my video on party Box later today - this is actually soft banned in the rules - a very very small ban list of cards that are just not fun for their auto win/auto lose one card combos. Leveler, and Consultation being two of them.
Found it! This is what I remember playing when I was a kid with some friends. I remember that each week, the guy with the cards would create a pile of cards with different levels, like commander (Levels 4, 5, ... 9), and we were able to play with up to 8 people at the same time. You'd attack to the right and defend from the person on the left. I tried to look for that way to play, but 20 years later, this is the closest I've come. Love the video!
This reminds me of old Inquest articles where they used to pit different trading card games against each other in delightfully chaotic multiplayer free-for-alls. Love it.
Quite a fun approach, especially with how some of the cards from other games can be adapted to the format. The endless possibilities for chaos and fun.
I have been ADDICTED to Balatro, for a week now. This Party Box, reminds me ALOT of it. Because you also just play Poker, to beat a score. But you also get Tarot Cards, Jokers and Planet cards. Its super wild and I think ya'll would LOVE it.
Damn, I actually would proxy some jokers into a party box. Maybe a *permanent* tarot card Ouroboros from inscryption, with a scrap of paper like the egg
I know it's probably a royal pain putting the 30-day average up for every card, but man that's excellent marketing. Your team is doing phenomenally, great job! Oh, the games were great too~
PK: i dont mind universes beyond, its kinda grown on me Also PK: Assembles an elaborate combo with Santa Clause from his "cube thing" hes played from for years
OMG! Another video with Vince's Party Box. I have my own version of cards that drew inspiration from this. It started at 300 cards, and is now at 1300+. It is probably the played thing in my collection. There are many instances where we stay over to play it after the shop closes for easily 3-4 hours.
did you also do a version with yugioh and pokemon cards in it or is it more MtG themed and the fun cards are free emblems and darker ritual type cards like giving 100 black mana and such?
@gorzakMtG mine is all MTG cards, but it does run silver border and plates cards. We also have modifications we use sometimes where we use planeswalker emblems like we would planes in planechase.
Be patient my friend, Vida locas comme to those who wait, who appreciate the sunlight on their skin and open themselves to new sensations to take away their pain
I have now found my new purpose in life. A) Make one of these. B) Play the o.g. at a Con. Amazing job PK! Update: Played my first in-person game of this today, we burnt through like 3 boosters with Booster Tutor. It's crazy and so much fun but, man it's gonna get expensive to play this too often!
@cardmarketmagic or Felizian (great job on the videos) or rest of community. 21:35 How was that pack made/does anyone have good spot for tutorials/DIY packs at that quality? Absolutely epic and have been trying to find a good way to make some like that for some of my special cubes, booster tutors, and as gifts. Unrelated to question; Love the video! Great to see Vince here, after watching his video for a bit on this, had to come over and see it in action. Awesome getting to see new creative ways to play the game that are at their core just about the fun of the game and getting to play with the interactions rather than just spiking it out with meta and crippling debt. Definitely looking forward to more like this and judge tower. Top notch work as always and thanks for all the work you and the team do for us and the magic community 👍
I love this so much, except all the "Kenobi, I need help". I feel like even a small piece of paper in the sleeve explaining non-magic cards would have done so much.
18:35 Actually, because of the way the triggers stack, the first cascade resolves, cascading into Guilmon, which is then cast and enters the battlefield, then the next cascade triggers, cascading into Clean Clean, so Vince could have targeted Guilmon with Clean Clean.
using a pokemon trainer to bench a 300 attack yugioh card and its replaced by a 5000 Dp Digimon is the kind of madness i'd like more of in my life
And if you told me this happened in a MTG game I'd tell you you were fucking crazy.
And then played "La vida loca" from the Ricky Martin TCG
don't tell hasbro
That is just some fair old school Magic for you.
This is why universes beyond is so successfull…
Now I know how my non-card playing friends feel when they watch me play
I zap 4 fields in my dipping phase to cast Moo Cow Moo, giving all my dairy farms Extra Milk.
-1/-1
Lol
That was the most casual "no, that's a hundred black mana" I've ever heard
love the pile of mana
I never thought I’d see a format where a Mokey Mokey was considered a powerful and intimidating creature 😂
very cryptic command saying "return target permanent to it's CONTROLLER's hand" is actually hilarious
You may know this already but there are also like 5-6 versions of that card, all with different modes
@@gooob7548They usually say "owner's hand" due to rule 400
every single one of them is in the Party Box... and two copies of normal Cryptic too. Because you know that makes sense@@gooob7548

The fact that someone already won a round within a minute and 30 seconds 😅
Well, when you have 100 black mana and a ToH.
Yugioh, MtG, Pokemon, Digimon and more in the video and UA-cam tops it off with claiming it is a Hearthstone video. Truly a mind-melting crossover of card games!
I can imagine someone drawing an Exploding Kitten. If s/he doesn't have a Diffuse, it's instant death 🤣🤣🤣
@@7swordquanta459That would have been hilarious!
Heh heh, just add some WoW TCG into it and technically speaking it would be a Hearthstone video
@@7swordquanta459 Woohoooo!
Ricky Martin was my favorite card played.. Also, this deck needs more baseball cards.
„No, this is a Commander card, so it doesn't let you fail." Brutal, honest, savage. Vince, never change.
This channel is reshaping the meaning of “mtg content creation”.
I cannot thank enough all the people involved for gifting us these gems!
And I cannot thank you enough for your truly kind comment :)
That stack fight in response to "La Vida Loca" was great.
If trying to be close to how it works, then the Vanguard card (the 10,000 power one) should be treated as a 10,000/10,000 with the continuous effect that it deals only 1 damage to a player if it hits them. We need to alert vince
100%. It has 10k stats for battling creatures, and deals 1 damage to players if it connects.
And gains 4000 ATK if attacking a commander...
Also the Venosaur should only be playable on top of an Ivysaur
The Attack gain also doesn't apply because it's a Generation Break 1, which means you need to have 1 face-up G Unit in your G Deck
"Can you put 20 cards into the graveyard?"
*dumps top of deck*
That was awesome!
Physically yes, legaly no 🎉
Cardmarket: So Vince, which game are we playing today?
Vince: YES.
We're playing DigiYugiPoke Vanguard the Gathering with guest appearance by Ricky Martin.
Carl going full cat mode and knocking over the deck had me laughing so hard!!!
Can't believe this is the closest we've gotten to a Cardmarket - Digimon 😂
Digi-mon are the champions! 😅
As a competitive digimon player i dream of the day
Counterspelling a Blue Eyes is somehow less weird than blocking Optimus Prime with a Tyranid and the Twelfth Doctor.
Yeah, that's basically just activating a trap card.
I love that this is categorized as a Hearthstone video under the description
lol
29:13 "can i finally resolve my vida loca" , i Lost It ALL 😂😂😂😂😂😂

absolutely the greatest format, will be starting my own.
So. TCG Calvinball. Love it!
Hahahaha, I had the pleasure of playing this madness in Barcelona last summer. Also I am the reason of the banning of leveler and demonic consultation when using a joker card (yeah, I'm a nasty cedh player)
Absolutely love this table's vibe, PleasantKenobi fits so well with the chemistry of the Cardmarket gang!
You can tell Vince is a master of this game, able to effortlessly play with a sraight face
This felt like playing with that kid who is inventinf its own rules during the game in order to make sure they will win 😅😅
And even more when Vince actually did win 🤣
I was thinking the same thing. This is like when you're young and no one knows how to play so you just start making things up.
this is gonna slap. I will return back in half an hour to report.
edit: never in my wildest dreams could i have imagined a match that slapped harder. please ban ricky martin.
Ricky Martin is the Party Box’s Pot of Greed
you know until someone gets *really* evil with a YGO booster lol
you just got to love the Carl move, no hesitation whatsoever, straight up milling the library with a simple gesture :D
26:17 this was the perfect "you activated my trap card" moment XD. I want to see more of this, this is soooo good
he could have lost here if someone pointed out monsters in yugioh arent spells
The casual pushing over of the top of the deck was the best thing I’ve seen in a while

I remember playing the Party Cube at the Barcelona event. So much fun, and a wild experience!
seems fun to play, might try doing something similar
I feel wrong being this early. Thanks for the amazing content as always, Card Market team!
This is honestly wholesome, I need to convince my friends to build something like this as well.
"Post combat I'm gonna cast Venusaur" is my favorite sentence in a Magic the Gathering game.
Jamin winning turn 1 was amazing, I cant lie. Just wiped everyone.
2:08 "Carl, that's a 5/5 Deathtouch Vigilance Lifelink Trample HASTE. Also, nobody has anything on board"
"whelp, I have nothing to do" 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣
He probably put it into his mana
He didnt actually play it, it costs WUBRG, he was just asking vince what it is
It costs 5 mana, which I could not pay with 2 lands :)
I absolutely love that the deck is full of cards with memories attached to them :)
This was priceless. We need more of this in our lives. XD Happy Birthday!

Honestly didn't expect to see mana bullying in this.
Even when partying, you got to party right.
I screamed in shock when Thoralf cast that Blue Eyes White Dragon...oh my god!!!
And it should have gone through - it’s a Monster card, not a Spell card, and Counterspell only counters target spell!
