Long time sub here, I want to ask about your UA-cam life and phases, like phases of activity and inactivity, as well as side channels like magic, trucking, burr puzzles, Legos, and things like that. What has your motivation been like through those phases, and what keeps bringing you back to cubing, and more specifically, making cubing related videos?

Edit after watching the video: OK, I realize I was a little too excited, but I’ve been anxiously waiting for it to come out with almost no news on it for months. The reason I got so excited it was because I knew a UA-cam video about it could come out any minute for the last five months.
I know how it feels, I was waiting for a smaller 7x7 than the shengshou mini (69.6mm) to come out back in 2014. well,...... only took 4 years. :P
I recently purchased this 11x11 here in South Africa. I really do not appreciate that the lines need to be 100% aligned to turn. It really messes up the timing and pleasure of the solve. I enquired from our supplier whether it can be magnetized. He indicated that he believes that this one can't have magnets retro-fitted. Do you agree? And if so, what 11x11 would actually be better?
Which one should I get: thunderclap v1 ,Yulong V2, rs2m ,valk3,gts2, rs3m, little magic m or Kylin V2??

We have magnets inside the puzzles nowadays. Even the manufacturers took their time in putting the magnets inside the cubes themselves. Not including hardware designs, do you think there will be another innovation made to improve the cubing hardware? Because frankly, 4x4 and 6x6 hardwares are still... bad.

I have the 8-10 huanglongs and this looks really good but I also want to have a lineup. I'm afraid if I get this it'll be too small
Wyattrox 03 definitely will be small compared to those. Like you see in the video, this 11x11 is the same size as the 8x8.
My other concern is when the 12-12 comes out it will be on the moyu scale and it won't fit the lineup either. I have also heard shengshou is coming out with a pillowed 12-12 so there are some choices

no, they don't make much of a difference
Well the cube is not the problem, you are. You are the one who helps yourself improve, unless your using a Rubik’s brand or a dollar store cube. But you don’t really need magnets. Also can you tell me what your PB is, I might be able to help.
@@EliteCubingAlliance First of all, the question is about, if it's worth buying magnetized cubes. I am not desperate about my PB, which is 20,25 btw. I actually think it's a good time, if I consider that I am learning cubing since January/February 2019. But thank you for your offer to help me with my PB. :)
I think getting a magnetized cube is worth it. I have one and its just way more satisfying to turn. Beeing more fun to turn will also improve your learnig sessions cuz you keep cubing longer...

how long did it take you to be sub 30 and 20
I'm guessing... ten years or eleven years?
For me it took one year to become sub 30 and another 6 months for sub 20
6 months for sub-20 and 8 months for sub-15. Also 1 month and a half to get sub-30

Received this puzzle yesterday. Total trash. I have the Yuxin 11x11 and while it's obviously bigger it's a much better product. Day 1 I had a peice pop out on this puzzle when I was simply turning the layers parallel to each other, want even doing a checkerboard. I've had the Yuxin 11x11 for almost a year and have never had a peice pop out, especially when not even doing a scramble or a solve. I can't put these things back together so I'm very careful with my turning but with this puzzle it just won't matter. While trying to put the peice back in it broke because of how cheap and flimsy they are so 12 hours after getting the puzzle it's in the trash. If you want a quality puzzle and I suggest getting the Yuxin.
