Kr Nexon already announced on the Anime games convencion that there will be more Gens, they don't give any number about how many there will be, but expect G13 and....expect the final revenge against Cichol.
@XRozelX they put an end to the game, its a money pool to them >.>' and as someone stated already, book of the Mabinogion it was a 450 page one, as far I remember correctly there was 25 generations, so devcat might want to finish the game on G13 but I doupt they will.
There is a few more generation before Devcat releases Mabinogi 2. Maybe Chapter 4 is the last? I dunno. But I do know that the story doesn't end in Mabinogi 1, and it'll carry over with character names etc, maybe... The possible ending of mabinogi 1 is something like the soulstream could collapse from some kinda event, thus the players can't enter mabinogi 1's world in a sense, and that's where 2 comes in, with a time gap most likely... Tarlach being old, Krystall old, Duncan passes away, etc.

Let's put it this way. People say the story is at g20+, Devcat already said they are making Mabinogi 2, and now they said g13 is the end for Mabinogi. Conclusion? Devcat might be planning to continue the story Mabinogi. They might still not finished so they are making this time gap for us to play Mabinogi Heroes, prequel to Mabinogi. /shrugs
@Kamikazedono I know right, its amazing how quickly they killed Cichol off... I was hoping to at least fight him once before the Alchemist Chapter ended.
@aznkid973 Chances are there are two possible ways for you to enter Mabinogi 2: 1) Your character is once again "rebirthed" but into a new world, in order to preserve the balance, you only get to keep exclusive stuff, like titles, traits, and possibly looks? Importing stats can be unbalancing since they will probably revamp all the skills and abilities. 2) You basically have your Mabi 1 character become a "Ancestor" of which you can make new characters based off of it.

ppl say this is the last generation i beg to dither and agree at the same time but i think they will add a LITTLE bit more for ppl who missed out on most of them
Um Ichigo... G12 is still on Season 1, it might goto Season 2 or 3, so there is no rumors of G13, and if there was rumors, it wouldn't really be in chapter 3, after all this... There should be a whole new chapter for the Final Fight agianst Cichol if he wasn't killed by Jenna (nobody is going to spoil that so screw it)

@idloginit wow? didn't they release a Chapter 4 promo on the korean server back at like, febuary or something? how can people still doubt more Generation mainstreams? and Mabinogi: Heroes has almost NOTHING to do with the regular mab, it's just using the same names as refernces and crap like "Erinn"
@idloginit No. No offence but you don't quite know what you're talking about. They already started on G13, I hear it's coming out either this fall or next summer. They have confirmed there will be a G15, and that there is a possibility for G20+ Sorry, but Mabi's way too big a cash cow for nexon to abruptly end.
honnestly vindictus is kinda dumb i mean its prequil on info we alredy know we need a sequil to mabi also if u want a game like vindictus just think of a god of war online be sooo much better :p

Cichol is alive enough to where he was able to appear in the Realm of the Gods at the end of g12. :x So, he's still alive.
