this is why I kind of hate EW predictions because they get everyone’s hopes up, and when the actual monster isn’t exactly like the prediction, everyone says they’re disappointed, even if the monster is cool af
I’m not disappointed cuz it’s not like a prediction, I’m disappointed that it didn’t contribute much to the song at all… there’s still a bunch of empty parts that it could’ve filled in if it was idk a synth or something

Before workshop, i was really obsessed with semi rythmic semi melodic monsters like wheezel, and they took that to heart, as workshop consists of them for 90% 🔥🔥🔥

Even if it was said that this is the final update to ethereal workshop, I will continue being hopeful for the quint, no matter what anyone says.
Honestly, given the monster handlers, it could be another false reason ending. Definitely given what's in the synthesizer
i stand by the theory they did this in july so the quint could come out august... and alone
on the wiki it says the quint is unconfirmed
They said that it's final "wave", not the final update. We 100% will get another monster, rares and epics

i like how oogiddy fits 4 tracks in the song and somehow doesnt make anything crowded. good job monster handlers. its a really fun design and a cool way to represent the poison element too.

No... this ugly thing made it uncannon, profe? If you go to the Play store to update the game and in the what's new section, it says "FINAL WAVE." This stupid monster made it that there will not be another wave...

Imagine trying to sing along with the Oogidy but its unpredictable notes and rhythm makes it impossible 😭
We call that syncopation my friend! not entirely unpredictable, if you know where they hit. If you look it up there's a lot of songs that use triplets like this. Unsure how one would teach someone about it but there's definitely tutorials from like, drummers about how triplets work. Makes you appreciate music more when you understand the humble triplet

I can understand not liking the monster to be honest, my issue is with the people who deny the quint's existence despite the giant flashing red arrows pointing towards the synthesizer, it's bio, and the fetus inside it
the monster itself isn’t disappointing, it’s the fact this is being played as the final wave
im pretty sure they’re trolling us though, due to the creature in the Synthesizer being hinted at in the bio and continuously growing. it HAS to be something like cmon, all that buildup and you’re gonna give us nothing for it?

I'm going with the theory that the final wave, means the last of the monsters who hatch from eggs
the quint is inside the synthesizer...no doubt it won't hatch from an egg, but will instead be physically part of the synthesizer

Zynth is a bug and Oogiddy is a squid, they also have completely different sounds

As someone who makes music it is really interesting to watch people DESPISE when some monsters exist to fill out the music just a little more, rather than adding something particularly grand. Oogiddy does its job of filling in space well, and it doesn't have to have a big sound to do that.
Like I think some of y'all need to understand the difference between "This monster is underutilized/too quiet" (which can and is true in some cases!) and "This monster is more subtle than others".
I guess it's more about the "but this is a quad (which requires a lot of work) and therefore I have high expectations for the sound it adds" (I'm sort of thinking of the way Pladdie MAKES Faerie Island), but idk...not every monster needs to contribute a Big Sound.
If we get a quint, it'll probably have more of the sound that you're looking for-the sound expected of a quad-but until then y'all really need to chill out.
Fun fact the fanmade msm song "Down In The Workshop" is refrenced in like the whole trailer music venshun wanting to leave which that must be great to have your own fanmade msm thing in a trailer like the big black orb in i think one of the eggstravaganza trailers

People just need to shut up. Just because it doesn't meet your expectations doesn't mean its bad. Its ok to be disappointed, but whining about it like a child is just stupid. The Monster Handlers definitely tried really hard with this monster (and Ethereal Workshop in general), so we have to at least be grateful. Besides, we are most likely getting a quint.
If Oogiddy played somewhere in the two augler verses, 9/10, but instead, it gets 7/10
