Sort of goes into Vel's character, clever, sly and emotionally intelligent to identify the problems but lacks the wisdom to forsee future long-term issues or even propose plans, sort of how social media is nowadays.
Velvette brings a few valid points:The Overlords have allowed Heavens to do what they want on their turf for too long, and Carmilla hides something regarding the dead angel.
Indeed they have, but that's solely because they have no real option. No other demon has managed to kill an Exorcist in supposedly their entire history, and one actually being killed doesn't change as much as Velvette thinks. Anything can die, but if war comes, *millions* of Sinners will be killed, Overlords included. Zestial is right, they can't act without more intel. To do so would be extremely dangerous, though they should at least hear out the Vees plan.
I see where camila is coming from here. @@Nexxxsundayfan yeah, she made all of the overlords including her lose another 16% of their power in six months. Talks a lot about how she truly cares about her family
This moment is what really made me realize the singing shifted from diegetic to nondiegetic, but after episode 4 made it clear with the hellborn shark demon pointing out Husk and Angel Dust were singing that its still diegetic, the Sinners just don't realize they are all singing now (for the most part not realizing it). Which feeds into the theory that Lilith *whose music empowered Hell in the episode 1 backstory* is off doing something somewhere that is causing Hell to become a musical and as music in so many belief and spiritual systems holds power, is causing Hell and the Sinners to become stronger.
I frikin love velvette, I know she’s super rude, but she slayed being rude 😂😂😂 also I love her singing, it’s so catchy and it can’t get outta my head ❤❤❤

I love that Velvet is " the backbone of the vees" because.... Think about it both val and vox are outdated in their respective mediums. Everything is basically online. Even if you have a tv at home chances are youre not using cable or satellite anymore. And if you are youre probably still also using streaming apps. And well... Vals format has been online since internet became a household thing
Vox isn't *just* television. He represents streaming services as well, seeing as he literally has his own Netflix knock-off. He's not outdated in the slightest, his medium is video in general, which is likely to be around for a LONG time. Velvette calls herself the backbone of the Vees, though it's likely the other two do the exact same thing and call themselves the most important part of their group. The weakest link is Val, but even then he has relevance. The adult film industry isn't dying out anytime soon, and even if it does Val would likely just move on to other kinds of porn.
@@jacklondon3745 oh i know, but i feel like the streaming thing came about because of velvette, i keep forgetting her extra letters. But i also just realized something with Vox... Interesting that Alastor displays seemingly genuine respect and appreciation of Zestials presence and company, but outright TROLLS Lucifer physically and in front of him. Wonder if he just didn't give 2 shits about status or if he has an active stance against Lucifer.
Based on what Viv has said in the past, the two have a respect for one another. Alastor is likely just testing the waters, seeing what Lucifer will do in retaliation to disrespect, and if he displays confidence, he'll know to keep himself in line around him. I doubt he has any strong feelings towards him.
according to canon,Zestial is the only overlord of the one's before Alastor appear in hell that's left alive,so his attitude of "don't figth a battle if you don't know you'll win" is really something to consider
From the reactions everyone had towards Zestial when they saw him take his stroll with Alastor, one guy even running away after burning himself alive, I'm guessing that he just has tons of patience and that's why he didn't lift a finger, he gives major "I'll let you get away with this incident but if you do this again I will put you in your place" vibes.
Are we all going to ignore the ice cream trio in the top right corner at 0:38 looks like they're paying homage to the SpongeBob/Sonic whacky icecream bars
I can get Velvet's point but she is too reckless, if they are going to go to war they do need to be prepared, it's clear the angels still have the upper hand so if they act reckless they will just all die.
Velvet and the Vee are "young" they have greed for power, and big egos, they want to make power moves, and enjoy to play in a aggressive way. while the other overlords are old and wise, they rule for a long time and learn to enjoy peace and stability in hell, they learn that they are the pillars of hell, and they dont want to see hell burning because of silly power moves
@@rafaelsantos-nl9jd True, but Velvet also have a point, with the exterminations getting sooner than ever and Adam clearly intending to end them all there won't be any peace for them to enjoy if they don't act and are too passive as well
yeah. I like that both sides are in the right here. Velvet is right that being able to kill the angels is a game changer but the others understand that acting knowing they have a weakness without knowing what said weakness is is dangerous and could end them
Have to wonder how the Morrningstars will react learning that an overlord may have found a solution to their angel problem but choose to try and keep it secret.
I love how they introduced Velvet, and made sure that she was as unlikable as possible. She's an easy-to-hate villain. Clearly she talks a big game, but has one or two cards in her deck at most. Well then again if you see the background for when she calls herself the backbone of the Vees you can see on Vox's side that he sent her a message telling her to behave, and Valentino has one saying "My Babydoll" with an emoji of him with hearts, so it seems she is treated like their daughter even if they are confident with her to do her own things, she's the bratty teenage daughter they share custody of from the looks of it, and I'm all here for it. Vox is the reasonnable, stern dad and Val is the doting one but the one she doesn't want to deal with when he's mad.
I get more of the impression that Vox is the oldest sibling, Vel is the middle child, and Val is the younger baby man child
Out of all the V’s, she seems the most dangerous
Vel: ‘ I could eat you lot for breakfast ‘
Alastor: ‘…..’
1:27 that walks makes her look so proud and confident about what she's doing
I agree I was totally getting the mean girl energy vibs
As I said before, this song just gives King Henry the 8th wives, ‘SIX’ Musical Vibes. Velvette’s appearance gives me Anne of Cleves, while her singing/acting voice, and personality gives Ann Boleyn, and Carmilla gives Cathrine Argon vibes, especially when she’s also a mother.
Yeah, I think that type of vibes would make a really great Six animatic from this song
Glad I am not the only one who thinks this
Wild that you should say this. I was just talking about how Stayed Gone from Alastor and Vox was giving me Farmer Refuted from Hamilton vibes
Who's Camilla's child?
@@RP16444 Those two demon girls sitting on either side of her. One has red glasses and the other one is wearing a black sleeveless turtleneck You can see them best at the 1:40 timestamp.

@@HelenMajabawhat?!
i have to say this song speaks volumes in todays world. it's short and straight to the point, with how relevant it is.
I love Velvette's voice
I adore that the reason this show is a musical is because of Lilith using the power of song to strengthen her people
This song is so catchy I can’t even explain how much I love this song
When i first heard it i was indifferent on it but i gave it another listen and it grew on me alot.
“That was a productive meeting!” Got me laughing my ass off
Alastor just thankful for the entertainment
Alastot:"That was a productive meeting😃"
HES SUCH A MOOD LOL I CAN'T-
Love Velvette's new design tbh and the songs from this episode was so good!
Everyone being suprised:
Alastor: That was a Productive Meeting! 🤠👍
I'd love to see how the V's plays out during D-day and also looking forward to seeing Vox's upcoming "Angelic Security".
Honestly I'm curious if Carmilla will actually help Vox with the Angelic Security after this ep
@@Nexxxsundayfanwould be interesting because she already holds some distain for them before the song. But after being riled up, out right disrespected in her own kingdom, and Vel insulting her beloved friend (or possibly more), the Vees might need to pull a super favorable deal in Camilla's favor to even entertain the thought.
Sort of goes into Vel's character, clever, sly and emotionally intelligent to identify the problems but lacks the wisdom to forsee future long-term issues or even propose plans, sort of how social media is nowadays.
Alastor being the goofball of the group is just amazing 🤣
One day I'm inhaling Verbalase memes; the next I'm jammin' to this. It's a win-win!
Let me show you how to scratch it

I like this song so much after hearing it
tenth like
I see where camila is coming from here. She has people she needs to look after and care for and if everyone started to fight back then there would be a war where her loved ones would most likely die in. If everyone thinks that the angels cant die by a demons hand then they wont fight back but instead run and hide like usual
This entire thing is messed up since her killing the angel is why the extermination is coming sooner than ever 😭
@@Nexxxsundayfan and the saddest part if all is that she probably did that to protect her family.
Yeah the angel attacked her daughters
@@Nexxxsundayfan yeah, she made all of the overlords including her lose another 16% of their power in six months. Talks a lot about how she truly cares about her family
@@PDD555 i feel bad for her
This moment is what really made me realize the singing shifted from diegetic to nondiegetic, but after episode 4 made it clear with the hellborn shark demon pointing out Husk and Angel Dust were singing that its still diegetic, the Sinners just don't realize they are all singing now (for the most part not realizing it). Which feeds into the theory that Lilith *whose music empowered Hell in the episode 1 backstory* is off doing something somewhere that is causing Hell to become a musical and as music in so many belief and spiritual systems holds power, is causing Hell and the Sinners to become stronger.
I love this theory
Wow... That's... A nice theory... 😮
That's actually a really good theory wow 😮
I loved this ep tbh I really love camella carmine design though how they drew her was dope
Velvet and Carmilla really slayed this part of the show love there voices so much
“That was a productive meeting!” Favorite line
0:23 This is where the song is on FIRE! 🔥
I frikin love velvette, I know she’s super rude, but she slayed being rude 😂😂😂 also I love her singing, it’s so catchy and it can’t get outta my head ❤❤❤
Same here this is now one of my favorite songs because of her
Same I think she might be one of my favourite characters
Yes, I love how it shows the difference between the overlords and how they want to handle situations

1:25 Her voice 😭😍
My favorite part 😍
Alastor is probably the 2nd most powerful in that room. When Zelestial stood before him it’s hard to tell if Alastor was nervous or excited.
The way Alastor’s eyes were twitching when interacting with Zestial, he was pretty nervous.
Alastor saying that “that was a productive meeting” made me laugh because it was so unexpected and I definitely like the vibes of this song just fit so well with Velvette
“That was a productive meeting” - me any class I have at college 😭🤣
Velvets face when Camilla interupted her looked Like her thoughts screamed : sorry Mommy 😂😂😂
Zestial voice is really nicee
Zestial is voiced by jamas (he voices asmodeus and Tex from helluva boss)
Alastor "that was a perductive meeting"
Alastor: "That was a productive meeting!"
He just doesn't give a shit
I hope we see more of Zestial and Carmilla.
We definitely will since she's probs one of the most powerful overlords
@@Nexxxsundayfan top 3 for sure.
@@shini1908 yeah!!!!

So smile my dear.
That's one of alastors character traits that make him stand out 😊
Even pissed, he's still smiling lol
This gave off Gen Z vs Gen X vibes. 😂
Exactly
I love how velvette was clamouring for war with the angels in this song but when it actually happened she was just warching on a screen
Honestly. The voice actors did so good with this song. Absolutely my favourite so far.
I can’t stop replaying this… too catchy.
Neither can I the songs in hazbin hotel are so catchy
Okay, I adore this song...and I absolutely love the animation on Velvet here.
I just realized Velvette's continuously walking back and forth on the table because is has the form of a fashion runway.
I love Velvets vibe we need her in more songs
0:36 best part
I think I've listened to this a dozen times. Damn, it's just a great scene. Actually made me really like Velvet, when I thought she was just going to be an Instagram model or something. Nah, she's the one who owns Instagram.
Velvette is already one of my favorites. I love her voice and attitude. I wish I could hear Zestial sing more and hope he will in future episodes.
Rose and Alastor sitting together, how cute!!!❤
Just gonna say, Rosie has the best facial expressions in this
I love that Velvet is " the backbone of the vees" because....
Dude has had "plastic surgery" his tv heads have changed over the years, and for some stupid reason that makes me giggle lol
Rosie's face at 1:17 is so cute
O o O
Yep so cute
Scary
according to canon,Zestial is the only overlord of the one's before Alastor appear in hell that's left alive,so his attitude of "don't figth a battle if you don't know you'll win" is really something to consider
Husk was one of the old Overlords
@@demonking3673but he was an overlord after alastor showed up,Zestial is the only one we know of the overlords before Alastor
Love the line "im the backbone of the vees"! 👹
That walk power she trowing them hips 1:27
Bro Alastor at the end just like “ThAt WaS a PrOdUcTiVe MeEtInG” got me rolling
This is fire as hell🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Also i love Carmilla's voice so unexpected😲
From the reactions everyone had towards Zestial when they saw him take his stroll with Alastor, one guy even running away after burning himself alive, I'm guessing that he just has tons of patience and that's why he didn't lift a finger, he gives major "I'll let you get away with this incident but if you do this again I will put you in your place" vibes.
I love he's not even really upset more like midly bothered
@@you_are_being_judged It's great! I love how his eyes narrow the more she became disrespectful, kind of reminds me of a cat when they get annoyed.
i love Velvet's voice
Velvet is respectless and all is true, but here 1:20-1:24 she ask the right questions >:3
awesome girl.
Are we all going to ignore the ice cream trio in the top right corner at 0:38 looks like they're paying homage to the SpongeBob/Sonic whacky icecream bars
I absolutely love alastor at the end claiming it was a " productive meeting "
1:01 makes me want to ascend
LITERALLY OMG
BRO FR ITS SO GOOD
I can get Velvet's point but she is too reckless, if they are going to go to war they do need to be prepared, it's clear the angels still have the upper hand so if they act reckless they will just all die.
Maybe the old do not mistake my kindness for weakness thing?
I mean they are safe from the purge.
Ngl, this song is so underrated. The lines and the tone fits the characters and the events.
I like that i can understand what the rapper is saying
**complete disrespect**
“ well that was a productive meeting. “
I love how they introduced Velvet, and made sure that she was as unlikable as possible. She's an easy-to-hate villain. Clearly she talks a big game, but has one or two cards in her deck at most. She THINKS she has a winning hand, but she's got nothing, and everyone else knows it.
That, and she's beyond insufferable. Her arrogance and self-satisfied stance really cement her as "I'm here to look badass and then get wiped out in the second-to-last episode by the REAL villain!"
And yet she's still the best character
i love how connected all the overlords are and not just some strangers that fight over power
The only bad thing about this song. Is that it’s not longer.
The only thing I could say, this is a nit-pick and had no weight whatsoever, it sounds like it was lifted straight from Hamilton
"that was a productive meeting! ☺" he was feeling a bit silly lol
Idk who i like more. Zestial or Alastor :) Gonna kill the next karaoke night here in Tally with this bop!
"That was a productive meeting😃👍" my mom: no it wasnt

"that was a productive meeting 🙂" nah man Alastor Is the goat
I can’t believe more people aren’t talking about Velvets last line, where she basically reveals that she knows Carmine did it / Carmine knows more then she is letting on. With Carmine ending the meeting before being pressed further
I love alstors voice at the end "well that we a productive meeting" will always get me to chuckle a little
