The Energy jumping off my screen just made me jump out the bed and grab all my baitcasters even the ones with no line!!! Man this video is too krunk for 8:00am in the morning!!! Awesome Show!!! Once again!!!
I was fixing to comment on his energy and scrolled down and the first comment I came to was yours lol. His energy is freakin contagious got work at 3am and all I really wanna do is grab some gear and go. Man love the energy he brings tournament or not just bringin it.
One thing about Brian that I like so much is that he will include kids and have them fishing. This is good for the children with him and the ones watching also. A True Professional. Keep up the great work. You’re a true inspiration.
I love watching this gentleman chunk and wind. I hadn't thought about lake fishing for the past 20 years, just fly fishing the local streams and rivers. I started watching Mr. Latimer a few weeks ago and now I have a bass boat, a ton of gear, and a renewed love of the sport. In the 80s Jimmy Houston inspired me to take up the sport; now 40 years down the road someone has again sparked my inner bass fisherman. Thank you, sir! I hope to see you on the water someday and shake your hand.
We're the same age and I've seen a lot of your videos but after the motor cross video and this video teaching kids about the best two sports in life. Brah..............you're my freaking hero!! Like seriously man I look up to you because your an outstanding dude!! Thank you for keeping the future of these sports going!!
Love to watch you stuff. I'm having a hard time now (Dec 20, 2021) finding fish on Hartwell and go out 4-5 days a week. So I pulled this video up again for inspiration. And you didn't fail me.
I love it. Good ole fun, no holding back. You fish like I do, weather? oh that...wait, I have a fish on... I fished a couple weeks ago, up here on Glenville lake, near Cashiers NC, it rained, sleeted then when it finally snowed, I laughed out loud because at least snow is dry! Christmas eve I got on to the big crappie. I caught nine right before dark, five of em were 18' and thick, over three pounds each. I also caught one bream that measured 13". I had the lake to myself. 1/8 th ounce jig, black body green tail. I bet you would have jumped up and down for some of that. Two days later, I lost a crappie at the net, it was much bigger. I think it would have been four pounds. I am new on the lake and having a great time of it. Smiling, George.
CONGRATS on bringing home that FLW Championship yesterday!! Fine fishing out there. Watched the whole livestream, was rooting for you from the first cast!
I’m glad to see all this content coming from you brother. You’ve been one of my biggest influences for the past few years as I’m getting back into fish. I fished competitively back in high school but joined the military right after so I have a busy schedule now lol! Definitely got me itching to chase some of those SC bass. I’m a South Carolina native myself. Thanks for another awesome video man. You’ve definitely got the best demonstrations I’ve seen yet.
Awesome B Lat to see u take a kid fishing!! Now days all the kids do is play video games and take smack to their parents he’s brought up right. This young man is going to grow up and a pro, he’s cast and control that trolling motor like a BOSS!👍👍👍
Wish I was out fishing. I'm in college but fortunately I commute. I am fixing up the old bass tracker that me and my grandfather fished out of most of my life. He passed away unexpectedly around 3 weeks ago now. Anyway I got lucky and bought an older Humminbird 1187 with si and GPS, a 787 with GPS, and a maxxum pro 80. So I have a lot of work to get everything fixed back up but it helps relieve my mind and feel closer to him. I have already repacked the trailer bearings, changed the lower unit oil, drained the gas (so I can switch to nonethanol), and gave the boat a good vacuuming and wash.
Btw I still want to head out on the water with you one day. Maybe next year around my birthday though and pay you for the angler development course. I was hoping to do it this year for my bday (March 7th) but upgrading the electronics has been expensive.
Next time one of my friends tries to say fishing is boring I’m taking them to this video to prove them wrong. You put so much excitement into it, it’s fun to watch and it shows what the passion is all about. Great vid man!
Some of the craziness might be for Hogan but it worked for me too! Bass fishing has some pretty serious moments but it's fun to be cray-cray and dance the hoopy nay nay. You go Hogy and Bry!!!!
Hahaha!!! You’re having too much fun!! Beyoncé the Bass, oh my gahhh that was hilarious. Thrilled to see you out there with that little man too-he’s got skills already. Good fishing & he backed y’all up off that bank without missing a beat.
I'm from the Clemson area, love fishing keowee and hartwell. I'm stationed at ft bragg NC right now and the fishing is awful. All the lakes are just dead. Got a lot of respect for you B lat. Keep doing your thing brotha
THATS WILD. I GREW UP IN EASLEY. STARTED BASS FISHING IN 1994 ON HARTWELL & KEOWEE. I SELL FISHING GEAR OUT AT THE ANDERSON JOCKEY LOTT OFF HWY 29. THIS WAS A FANTASTIC VIDEO OF HOME & GOODTYMEZ.
Fun fun fun!!! Brian, you know Greenfish in Augusta? Great balsa baits, handmade, spinners, jigs, etc., excellent baits that won't break the bank to own! That's my problem, too big to dance.
Turned all the way up in this video man! Looks SC passed up all it's rain and sent it this way here in VA lately. All I can do is re rig and re rig. Keep up the solid work!
Tried to fish Hartwell this past weekend. Had a trailer tire seperate on the way down, got to the ramp and had a dead cell in the cranking battery. Ended the trip before it began. Got new tires and 2 new batteries and gonna try again tomorrow and Saturday. Thought about taking a battery or two out of our houseboat but decided it wasn't worth the hassle.
I live on lake hartwell! I love it so much and its got some really nice big fish down deep if they are there at the right time....I just caughter a couple really nice catfish.
Just saw this video. Didn't realize you were from the upstate. Tried to figure out where you were, then saw the building across the lake from you. I did the AC in those condos. Really enjoy your videos.Good luck this year.
Awesome video and incredible energy! i am moving up to the North West fork of Hartwell this weekend and have been watching youtube to learn the lake. Keep it up man!!!
My son and I fished four hours today, all the way from Hurricane Creek to the bridge I couldn't get under. We threw everything at em' but couldn't get any in the boat. I would love to hear more about your Hartwell hotspots !!! 🐟🎣🎏👊
Awesome B-lat keep them coming. I enjoy these videos and learn a lot from them. Good to see you give back to the fishing Community. Now go smash them at Lake Seminole. I need a top ten finish out of you!
Fantastic awesome video bad thing is I live in Michigan and it’s way too cold up here and it’s going to be about three months before I can get on open water The way the weather has been here
ALotamore coming from ALatimer, great day on the water, funny how the worst weather days can be the best fish catchen days. Sales of that new bait just jumped.
I have been walking them on in that same spot past two saturdays. Had two on the same square bill last Saturday. Landed one. Ive never caught two on one lure. Almost though. This was cool homie
Great video thats a good ol hartwell stud The water level rose almost three foot just this week with all the rain we have had. Brian we have the Bassmaster High School open March 2nd out of green pond , winner goes to next years Bassmaster Classic , come ck out the weigh-in first flight in at 3:00 hope to see ya there.
That's a killer size largemouth for Hartwell, especially getting three 5 lbers in a row off a crankbait. I doubt I would have ever thought to fish a crankbait in those windy and stained conditions. I would have probably been with a bulky spinnerbait in a dark color with an accent of chartreuse or brighter color and a big bulky swimbait or creature trailer a similar dark color and slightly highlighted brighter color. Or a 1/2 - 3/4 ounce rattletrap or big 5" swimbait on a 3/4 under spin. Or a big bulky dark colored swim jig and matching trailer. Basically something moving with a large enough profile and dark enough color to cast a large silhouette and let the fish know it's there. Or go with a loud "presence" lure that uses sound like a rattletrap and sound/vibration like a spinnerbait.
@Brianlatimer does trips every December called Angler Advancement trips, it’s hands down a blast! There’s nothing like a day on the water with a pro, getting to pick their minds, and the knowledge you gain. Doesn’t matter how seasoned of an angler you are, there’s always more to learn! Great video bro!!!! Never loose that excitement!!!!
Pro bass fisherman legitimately excited bout fishing,
I LOVE IT!!!
Corey K 😂 I think we all love it
